I like that Hundredth Anniversary picture. Here's my car parked behind my twin on show day.

I was down a little further in the trees from you as we were parked according to year.

Again, wish I had been more involved with the Forums and would have sought you out. I remember the car just never got a chance to speak with you.

GREAT EVENT for me and my boy!

Finally have a picture of me and an old car...just not my old car. It's a 30's era Studebaker that was left abandoned by some Okies or Arkies on their trek to California back in the day. It's displayed by a marker at the entrance to The Petrified Forest in Arizona, one of the places we visited this summer. Anyone know the year and model of that car?

Me behind the wheel of a 1920 Dodge Brothers in 96 or 97... I drove the tread all the way off a brand new set of tires those two summers. I really miss that old dodge.

Back on the Bricks in Flint, Mi, my wife and I are there taking part in the 100th Anniversary Parade for General Motors, 2008.  The photo is credited to Detroit Free Press.  We, too, participated in the Buick Centennial but I have no photo.  Gary

I'm a bone stock guy except when it comes to Cragars on certain cars of the 50s and 60s.  They look great on the vette.

Thanks alsancle, could not agree more. Here is a better picture taken a few years ago.

Here is a picture of me (early 20’s) and a car I still own 46 years later (72 vette). I have since become a purist (with short hair and much older). Car has a fair amount of Baldwin Motion stuff (doors back) with the front end from California (told 3 were made). Now sports a front ground effect spoiler.

As with 'ole Ron Green I owned this 1972 TR6 since new.

Meet was held by the stadium at Virginia Tech.  Had no idea West Peterson trudged up to the top of the stadium to take the photo.  (If I recall correctly West was not too pleased for all the pigeon droppings in the stadium seating area)...😀

Here is a picture of my 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS that was taken in front of the Chevrolet Dealership in Rhinebeck, NY where I purchased it new off the show room floor. The dealership closed about 11 or 12 years ago... I still have the car.

This is just one of several Model A trucks that I have built... doing open heart surgery, face lift and knee replacements, and kidney transplants on them... to bring them back to life, and make them better functioning, than they were new... then driving them thousands of miles on long road trip, for many years as my daily drivers..... This one is a long bed 4x4, 5 speed pickup, disguised as a 1929 Ford

If that's the dealership building I think it is, I love it. Love the architecture of it...see it en route to the Rhinebeck car shows.

My wife and I at Pebble Beach with our 1915 Packard Special Roadster. The car was built and driven by Carl G. Fisher, the man who built the Indy 500, The Lincoln Highway, Miami Beach and more! He drove it as the Pace car in the 1915 Indy 500 race as well as the Fall Classics of the same year. He also used the car to survey parts of the Lincoln Highway. It is basically all original except for late 20's repaint by Eddie Rickenbacker when he owned the Speedway.

My two boys in 2012 -- at the time aged 16 (William driving) and Harry (14). Both are now working in the old car industry as William at a specialist old car repair shop as a mechanic and Harry at a restoration shop as a panel beater.

This was our 1912 Oakland on the 1997 GLIDDEN Tour.

I’m driving ( wow - I was much heavier back then!). My friend Ernie was navigating at the time while Dale and Gwen were in the back seat “Nagrivating”image.png.cc5b1586bcaa72dc5993441e04a757aa.png

Hey Marty

Here's a pic of my 12 Oakland 40 on tour about 10 years ago with my wife and I in it. We've been touring it since 1987 when I finally finished the 10 year restoration. Had it on tour last summer. It's been a great runner over the years. I've put over 25000 miles on it!
