Daves1940Buick56S
Well, I did it! I am now the proud owner of a 1938 Century Sport Coupe 66S. In very good condition. No doubt I will have some questions and need some advice from you 37 and 38 guys. I will join the 37/38 Club shortly. Meanwhile, herewith some pictures, boys and girls... Pete: One of the previous owners "customized" the wiring. The switches control instrument lights, map light, spotlight, driving lights, etc. My plan is the remove the dash and "undo" some of the changes and upgrade the wiring as necessary. And repair the radio and clock. The same thing I did to my '40. Didja catch the huge Super Ray Cross Country lights? Cheers, Dave

rodneybeauchamp
Hi Dave, that is one sharp 1938 Buick! Lots of little period things that have been done like the small reverse lamp, the turn signal switch and the spot lamp. I note that yours is a Century and keen to spot the differences between yours and our Australian bodied “ all enclosed coupe”. And yes, am very biased toward ‘38 coupes for some reason ?????? Enjoy the journey, you can never have toooooo many Buicks! Rodney from down under ????????
