Xander Wildeisen
I was going for one of those open Idaho chauffeur cars when building that one. Front part became the stretch on a Hudson truck. The automotive sedan ecosystem. Stretch is temporary, The truck is waiting for a correct restoration.

John_S_in_Penna
Looking through pictures on my digital camera, I came across one of my 1957 Buick Century. It's not from this year, but it's an autumn picture that's worth sharing. The car's factory colors are "dawn gray" and "antique ivory." The gray has a bit of lavender hue, and looks different in different lights, so here's also a summer picture which better represents that color: Edited December 2, 2020 by John_S_in_Penna (see edit history)
58L-Y8
Finally downloaded the pictures from mid-October, the color was glorious. I waited for the late day 'golden hour' sunlight, timed a Norfolk-Southern freight train into the frames. The following year while stationed in Germany and working as a flag man it the races sponsored by our Porsche Club, the infield was full of 280 SL's. It's not the last time I had to eat my words. SC38dls
This is off back porch of our house. I’m trying to convince the golf course to let me use the 38 as my golf cart so I can get it back here in the pic. John348
Well it's a new year, and another fall and time to revive a great thread! Not much color here in the northeast but took a ride this afternoon. Have new addition to the collection, my 50 Chevy moved on to a new owner to make room for this nice 54, and my old riding buddy Sammy departed to that doggy farm after 15 years, I miss our leaf looking rides together a lot. By the way, where is Victoria Lynn?

pfloro
The older two pictures (mid 90s) were taken of my Toronado in Harriman State Park. This park is not too far south of West Point Academy on the west side of the Hudson River. Sorry that no cars appear in the newer pictures (October 2019). Believe it or not, they were taken on Mount Lemmon which is 35 miles north of Tucson. The elevation is ~7500'. There are maple trees in the desert...! These pictures have not been tinkered with in Photoshop...! The sky is really that blue and the trees were that rich in color. Enjoy...! I've heard that very few parts of the world see the glorious colors that the U. S. northeast does. Even in southern Pennsylvania, the colors aren't as vivid as in northern Pennsylvania. And I must say, even the most colorful fall pictures posted on this thread don't come close to depicting the brightness of the spectacular colors that you would see in person in the Northeast. There's nothin' like raking 6 inches of pine needles off your lawn! And when they mix with the maple leaves and then get rained on...oh my achin' back! Second and third photos: "Every fall a hillside along Oregon’s highway 18 greets passersby with a massive smiley face formed by trees. the design, created by Hampton Lumber in 2011, features a mix of Douglas fir and larch planted during a reforestation of the area. the larch trees have been organized in such way that during autumn, their needles turn yellow, creating the body of the face while the Douglas fir makes up the eyes and mouth." 3

OH ????? and don't park underneath, can this can be just as good as hail damage! Also, have you ever tried to get sap off your 5k paint job? I've got fifteen pine trees, and four large scrub oak, the evergreen oaks shed leaves and acorns all year round. Rain , snow or blow.
