Larry Schramm
We went out on a 125 mile drive today with some friends. Good drive not for the faint of heart. 11
Larry Schramm
No pictures today, but about 140 miles added on the clock. At least it was dry with no rain. Edited April 19 by Larry Schramm (see edit history)
dibarlaw
Only did about 15 miles today as I am still sorting out some issues. But it was a sunny day so Remley the 1925 Master and Chickie our 2020 Envision were in a good spot.

Larry Schramm
Well, ended up the week on the tour driving 450 miles for the week. Also that was with ZERO issues. Purred along at about 30-35MPH, except when going down hills and sometimes hit about 40 but that was OK in preparation for going up the side of the next hill. Yup, always good to get a run at the next hill and open the cut-out for more power!
60FlatTop
I had to scroll back to February 10th on this topic to figure out the last time I had my Buick out on a weekend. Really wanted to get the '60 Electra out for coffee this morning but it was 37 degrees out and still pretty wet from the rain. I am really getting tried of the cold and the rain. JohnD1956
Put some new tires on the GS and then ran a about 15 miles with it. Between the suspension and tire upgrades, it is a great ride now.
Paul White
Hi All, It's been a while since I posted here. Last weekend my wife and I along with a bunch of friends attended a 10 course Titanic re-enactment dinner at an Edwardian period hotel in the Blue Mountains, located 70 miles west of Sydney and 120 miles from our home on the Central Coast. The hotel was purchased by its current owner 18 months ago and is undergoing a fabulous and sensitive restoration. Of course there is a Buick angle with me in my '36, my long-term friend Dave recently buying a '37 Buick and Michael and his '41 Sedanette, all Fisher bodies,. A pleasant weekend was had by all with the Buicks out and about around the area over the weekend. Please enjoy the photos. Cheers Paul 14
NC1968Riviera
We took the Aqua Zephyr to the Goodguys car show this past weekend at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC. The photo below of the AZ is on the Goodguys website "First Friday Look" page for the show on April 19th. Mark Shaw
I got the 31-67 out for a short drive around the neighborhood yesterday. She started easily after pumping the pedal several times & drove just fine for a 93-year-old lady. edinmass
Well the 34 Buick roadster is now officially a sorted car, we use it as our main transportation on weekends here in Palm Beach. Don’t even carry a screwdriver or a pair of pliers. It’s just simply as reliable as a new car. Took it shopping this afternoon. It’s 96 degrees here today. Engine temperature stays at 145 fast, slow, or in stop and go traffic. Oil pressure maintains 38 lbs on its original 66k engine……where the bypass starts to dump excess pressure. Did two new tie rods and an alignment this week. Runs like the wind. Perfect grocery grabber. At a stop light someone tried to buy it this afternoon. We have about 2k miles on it now…..and many more to come. Edited May 18 by edinmass (see edit history)
TexRiv_63
I have been neglecting my Buick lately, took it out today for breakfast with a couple of PAS friends. It was a beautiful windows - down day and driving was a real pleasure.
jackofalltrades70
Got the 47 out of her winter slumber. Started right up after two fifteen second cranking intervals. Purrs like a kitten! Took her out Friday lunchtime to an event at Allied Services care facility for the patients there. Was a great time.
dibarlaw
Swapped out my 1925 Buicks and have Beulah the Standard out and about. My daughter helped me put down the incorrect, cut down, adapted top so I could try the 1927 Standard top I picked up recently. It is the newer style with the flat plates instead of the sockets. It does look much more appropriate that what I have on it. Unfortunately it is wider at the front than what my car is to have. But we are back to having some quality miles with Beulah again.
Buicknutty
We had took the Electra out for breakfast then off to a social meet at a member's country place in the Niagara area, which is an hour an half from home. Lovely day here and a very enjoyable drive over well paved but seldom used roads. About 125 miles on the lovely girl, ran great and we used to A/C for the first time and it was still working fine too. Last time I heard, it was a 2022 or 23 GMC Tahoe that he uses for towing. Don't know where the Hyundai came from you are talking about. Do you have the Hyundai?
dibarlaw
Well we solved the problem of the too wide top.... we removed it and stored it and folded the top that was on the car and now have it tucked into the boot.(dustcover) So with the top down, no one can tell that the front bow is too wide ... at least until October when I put the top up again... 73.5 mile round trip to break bread with some like minded Buick people.

60FlatTop
Sunday I had my annual New York State inspection done for the 22nd time, 91,000 miles now. The car in the background is what "My Mechanic" drives. The shop got very busy since COVID hit and he used to do my daily driver repairs. He hasn't done any work except the inspections since then. Feels good to be independent in my old age.
Buicknutty
It was a very warm and summer like evening here so we took the '41 Roadmaster to a cruise in, and then I gave a ride to an enthusiastic lady who's one of the regulars and just loved my car! That put a few more miles on it than just back and forth so I drove it about 45 miles all together. It was running great, and my passenger was very impressed that such an old car was so comfy and fast. She drives one of the two seat T'Birds, a '57 I think, so she does love old cars and likes to talk cars but confesses she knows little. No pics of her, but here is my car. 9

cxgvd
Drove our 1913 Model 31 to nearby Chatham, Ontario car show with six hundred vehicles parked on King St. An early morning thunderstorm led to a lovely afternoon of sun and high clouds. Stayed with the Buick nearly all day answering questions and allowing children to sit in the car and have their photos taken by the adults. The largest request by far was " Why is the steering on the right side of the car? Is it difficult to drive?" Not a single query " how much is it worth?" which is refreshing. I won best of show which included a $500.00 dollar donation the the charity of my choice in my name. It is good to get off the couch.
