TheMoneyPit
1. A Brewster, but not the town car. The vanity plate for it would be "Cruella" or "Deville" (both would fit it). God I love that heart shaped grille.2. Early thirties Lincoln K Roadster. Too bad "Rum Runner" will not fit on a plate. 3. 1922 Bay State... O.K. I know it's a box, but I owned what was left of a sedan at one time and I miss the thing. Not to mention it's so darn unusual that there is still only two I know to exist, and in all the time I had it I pulled my hair out looking for parts... Maybe I don't miss it that much.Too bad I'm on a Model T budget...

Guest BillP
'34 Packards were good looking cars and the last of the "square" Packards, conservatively styled years after the rest of the industry had gone to tipped- back windshields and radiator shells. A V12 Deitrich coupe would be a fabulous car. Any of the big Bentleys built before 1930, either open or closed, blower or atmospheric, I don't care. That dark blue Model X Duesenberg boattail that's been making the concours circuit the last few years. Built by Augie & Fred before E.L. came along. Must have it. Some sports racer from the 50s or 60s to go vintage racing in. Maybe a Lotus Eleven, or a Lola T70, Porsche 904, I don't know.

Guest greg72monte
1) 1959 (or 60) Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz (love those fins) I think the 60 is more beautiful, but the 59 is the ultimate in 50's excess.2) 1965 Buick Riviera GS (the hidden headlights in the vertical pods make this the best of the early Rivieras) and to think Cadillac turned it down before it became a Buick!3) 1953 Kaiser Dragon (hey, why not drive something that no one else drives) Saw one at Macungie and I wanted to take it home.Oh, I could go on & on....... kuhner
Remember seeing a Stanley about mid to late 20s' roadster for sale at Hershey, really liked that car, wished I had one.1948 Red F1 Ford Truck. Like my Dads, my first truck I ever rode in, first truck I remember. I think of them both when ever I see a '48-50. Of course some coach built VW, Hebmueller, Dannenhaur & Stauss, Rometsch.Looking back on this list funny thing is at one time or another I had a chance to buy one each of these. At what seems now a very reasonable price. greg

Mike Dube
Bill, The Model X was technically built after E.L. Cord had purchased Duesenberg, and he did have some say in it. It was the transitional car between the A & J. That said, it was certainly more "Fred & Augie" than the Js. Have you ever seen Augie's personal car in the Indy Speedway museum? Augie kept it a long time and kept updating it.

You have picked the best ones so far! I'd want the 1913 Mercer Raceabout that spent its life in this town untill the late 1960's. The 3 Liter Bentley looks better to me than a 4 1/2. After 14 years of rebuildind and repainting them I'd like my own Type 37A Bugatti. An L-29 Cord Cabriolet, ANY Miller, and if it could be found the Bob Swanson drived Vanderbilt Cup car from 1936. This would go nicely with the #33 Gilmore car he ran at Indy in 1937.

HarryJ
Centurion.... The DV-32 wasn't introduced until late 1931. It's an awesome machine, successor to the vertical 8 that placed 2nd at LeMans in 1928. The Monte Carlo body by Weymann was probably the sportiest body for the series.
