60FlatTop
The '62 225 six-window is a car I owned about 1987 to 1990. It was my Wife's all time favorite car. When it got to the point of replacement (she got a '69 fleetwood Brougham) I made a 4 door convertible of it and drove it around town another couple of years. I grafted on a '62 Olds convertible windshield frame and had a very convincing boot cover. I thought it would end up in the local junkyard after parting it, but I sold it to a guy who liked it. In turn he sold it to a Buick collector in western Pennsylvania. I am pretty sure the car still exists and would LOVE to find it. The back glass ended up going to a Buick Club member on Long Island who drove almost to Buffalo to pick it up. He even cut through NYC a picked up a bag of famous bagels for me on the way. If anyone has seen the car let me know. If anyone wants a great deal on a bunch of six-window stainless I can make that happen, too! 50jetback
This one is great therapy - everything I like and I'm betting my old mate Ben AKA First Born will as well. 1950 Buick complete with accessory front fender guards ( which Dylan is casually resting his black and white loafers on ), a stainless .357 magnum Ruger Security Six with 2 1/2" barrel and ? - oh yeah, Jessica Harper. Think I might have to buy this movie poster for the shed wall https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Blue-Iguana-1988-US-One-Sheet/162564701425?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160727114228%26meid%3D36f5577766304ccc9773817f0600fed9%26pid%3D100290%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D162564701425&_trksid=p2060778.c100290.m3507 Edited January 16, 2018 by 50jetback (see edit history) 1

60FlatTop
'50 Buicks make me remember my friend John Utz, long time editor of the lying Lady, Rolls-Royce Owners Club magazine. I was in his basement office and he was going through decades of collected file folders. "Another picture of a Rolls-Royce grille!" he said. "Everyone sends a picture of the grille. I couldn't find a rear shot to save my life." In memory of a good friend, here is Tom Pirrung's car again.
kgreen
Think how cool this would be if it was a Dynaflow. But then again, who wants a wet floor? 3
60FlatTop
Good thing it is a sink. Another bathroom fixture would draw out "go with the flow" comments. Sure don't need that. Bernie
RivNut
We cant see how big the drain is. Perhaps it's multifunctional. Drill a couple of holes in a stowable seat to line up with the dowel pins and youd have it made.

NTX5467
Looks like it might be the start of one of those "garage cave" seats, except with the length of that Roadmaster quarter panel, might be better as a "bed frame". Only thing is that with that length, it'd probably take up a full stall in the garage! Ought to sleep better than a lumpy couch, IF properly done . . . air suspension not considered. Air Suspension??? That could raise the "step-up" height (to one's knee height) or increase the "slide-out angle" for ease of exit! Then set it to happen when the pre-set alarm goes off! Those upper quarter chrome pieces would make good grab handles, but probably not ADA-compliant. dei
Actually considering saving those quarters and hanging them on each side of the garage walls with tail lights lit up when I choose... Meantime, there are a few other parts going towards saving this one which is it's identical twin.

Here is one I have been saving up, my 1915 McLaughlin chassis going to meet it's freshly painted touring body in the shop next door. A great day for me, enjoy. Beemon
That's just one of those things where either they work or they don't and no in between.I feel they would look nice on Buicks because the sweep spear would hide most of the same but it's hard to say if they don't complement the change in height from the door to the rear quarter.

I've always liked fender skirts, but then I grew up in the 1950s. A set of wide whitewalls would improve the image !

My first thought, sell the skirts and use the money for wide whites. I am a pretty big Cadillac fan. Two of them that I like best are the '64 Eldorado convertible and the 1998 Sedan DeVille. They don't have skirts and out of about 70 years of skirted Cads they stand out. Whites!
