Guest sintid58
All these other threads about our past rides has set me to thinking about all the cars I have owned or driven as my own over the years. When I was in high school and college I was kind of a horse trader buying old cars, getting them running good and reselling so the list is pretty long. I am going to go from oldest to newest not in the order I owned mine.1949 Dodge 1 and 1/2 ton grain truck1952 International 3/4 ton pickup (sister still has this)1955 Buick Special 46R1955 Ford F500 gravel truck1958 Buick Special 1962 Chevrolet Station Bel Air station wagon1963 Chevrolet Impala 1964 Buick Riviera1965 Chevrolet 1/2 ton Pickup1965 Chevrolet Bel Air 1965 Buick Special Station wagon1966 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup1966 International 1 ton pickup1966 Ford Fairlane 500 2 dr hardtop1967 Chevrolet 1/2 ton Pickup1967 Buick Le Sabre (Grandfather bought new still in family)1968 Buick Le Sabre1969 Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup (3 of them)1969 Buick Electra1969 International 1600 cabover grain truck (propane fuel)1970 Dodge Coronet 4401970 Buick Skylark 2 dr hardtop1970 Buick GSX1970 Buick Skylark 2 dr sedan1970 Buick Riviera1971 Plymouth Duster 340 4BBL1973 Buick Estate Wagon1973 Chevrolet Kingswood Station wagon1973 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup1974 Ford F2501975 Ford F250 Super Cab (2 of them) 1975 Ford full size station wagon1978 Buick Le Sabre 1978 Chevrolet Diesel pickup1980 Pontiac Firebird1980 Ford Crown Victoria1980 Buick Le Sabre Turbo Coupe1982 Chevrolet Citation1983 Buick Le Sabre1983 Chevy Cavalier1983 Buick Regal1983 Mercury Cougar1984 Mercury Gran Marquis LS1985 Plymouth Voyager 1986 Ford Escort station wagon1987 Buick Riviera1990 Buick Reatta1992 Ford Tempo1993 Plymouth Voyager1995 Buick Skylark1995 Honda Accord 2 dr1995 Chevrolet Siverado 1500 extended cab1995 Buick Park Avenue1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager1997 Buick Park Avenue (2 of them)2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager2002 Buick Rendevous2003 Le Sabre Limited Celebration Edition2004 Buick Rainier2007 Dodge Ram

The Cavalier was his Florida car; it's still there and I need to do something with it. It has 52K on it.Oh, the one car of these that I miss the most? The '95 Crown Vic - wish I had never traded it. The Old Guy
I have owned 196 cars through the years. The list is in the garage, and I do not type good enough to post them all. . It is also too cold to go out and get it. They were predominatly Buicks, but I did have some different marques. Guest Dans 77 Limited
In order of ownership (all bought new except the last two):1977 Chevrolet Impala Coupe, bright red, 305 V8BillMine started out as gold ish color with lots of prmer and a white interior. I bought it the first time in 1986 off of a guy I worked with . It was also the 305 V8 but it had just had the top end rebuilt before I bought it. When I finally sold it for the final time in 1991 it was a bright blue (had gotten the paint code off of my 89 Z24 Cavalier) had chevy rally wheels a blacked out grille and dual exhaust with cherry bombs. I loved that car. In the 5 years that I bought and sold and rebought it it only broke down on me twice. Once an ignition module went bad and drove me nuts for a few months cause I couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. My final solution to the problem was to buy a Bronco and just let the Impala figure it out for itself . I drove it sparingly when it would start and then one day it just quit running completely and I could finally figure out why. the other time the tranny was killed. I was in the hospital and had lent it to a friend , he bottomed it out and damaged the tranny pan........ game over. I replaced the tranny and the car never let me down again. Im not even sure why I sold it in 1991, other than the fact it had a HUGE hole in the drivers side floorboard. I wish I still had it .Dan
Guest 63Stude
Concerning my '77 Impala Coupe:It was my parents car when new, purchased Nov. '76. We had traded in a '74 Impala Sport Coupe which was a good car but Dad thought it was a gas hog. Really and truly, I enjoyed the '77 more than the '74, in just about every way possible. I know they had a reputation for soft camshafts and weak THM 200's, but ours ran fine. They had a "mini Seville" look and I liked the coupe's rear window treatment. They rode solidly yet smoothly and were very quiet. For some reason...I think because frames rusted out and interior soft trim didn't hold up all that well...a really nice original is harder to find now than a really nice original '76-or-earlier big Chevy.I'd still love a '77-79 Caprice Classic Coupe with the best factory wheelcovers and the Custom Interior trim, full gauges, digital clock, and 350 V8.When Dad bought the '77, in the showroom was a very similar Impala Coupe but in Firethron Red instead of Bright Red, and it had the 350 instead of 305 V8. It was $200 more so Dad bought the 305...grrrrrr!I can remember the bagboy at the A&P 'oohing and ahhing' over it when I took my Mom to buy groceries one day.My folks bought a new '80 Monte Carlo and gave me the Impala as a college graduation present. I drove it nine months and traded it in on the '81 Monte Carlo V8 I had the dealer do a search for. A buddy of mine bought the Impala, put big tires and chrome wheels on it, and drove it a few more years until the frame rusted out.Bill

Joe Cocuzza
I cannot list the cars I have owned thru the years - from age 13 to my now old age of 54 - because I will probably forget quite a few. As a rough estimate I would say I have had at least 300-400 cars (maybe more) - so far. Please don't think I am exaggerating. I am telling the truth. The only regret I have is that I wish I had kept ALL of them. I could have retired, quite comfortably, a while ago if I held on to them.Space and money dictate how many we can keep. John_Maine
Well, let's see if I can do this - oldest to newest:1964 Corvair 7001964 Falcon Futura 1964 Chevrolet Impala 1966 Buick LeSabre Custom 1967 Valiant Signet 1971 Buick LeSabre Custom1972 Ford Gran Torino 1972 Ford LTD 1974 Ford Gran Torino 1974 Ford Gran Torino Brougham 1976 Ford Pinto Squire 1979 Pontiac Catalina 1980 Chevrolet Impala 1980 Ford LTD1980 Ford Fairmont Futura1985 Ford Escort 1985 Chevrolet Celebrity 1986 Pontiac 6000 LE wagon1988 Mercury Topaz 1989 Olds Cutlass Ciera1990 Dodge Dynasty 1993 Mercury Cougar 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier1994 Mercury Sable1995 Ford Crown Victoria1996 Olds Ciera1998 Ford Windstar2000 Ford Taurus SES wagon2004 Pontiac Grand Prix2004 Subaru Legacy Outback2005 Ford Escape2007 Mercury Mariner2009 Mustang ConvertibleCurrently own the 09 Mustang, 07 Mariner, 93 Cavalier, 89 Cutlass, 72 LTD, 71 LeSabre. I inherited the Cutlass and the Cavalier from my uncle when he passed last year. The Cutlass has 50K on it so am using it as my winter car, saving the Mustang. The Cavalier was his Florida car; it's still there and I need to do something with it. It has 52K on it.Oh, the one car of these that I miss the most? The '95 Crown Vic - wish I had never traded it.Boy, this goes back to January '10 - have to amend my list. When I made it to Florida in March '10, I found the '93 Cavalier in tough shape. It had been sitting for 14 months in a carport uncovered. Pretty grimy, would not start. Turned out to be the fuel pump. It also had a flat. I ended up giving it away to a friend (single young mother) of the tow truck driver that came to pick it up. Estimate for repairs was $700. I was limited on time and didn't want to spend $700 to have it fixed and sit there again for another year and I didn't want to ship it north - $900 - because I didn't really need it here at home. Larry Schramm
I have no idea. Lost count years ago. I am guessing over 50, and that is not counting the company cars that I got when I was traveling. I got a new co. car about every 30 days for about 10 years.
