MrEarl
I see a lot of abandoned and junked Buicks posted in the May or May Not Like forum (formerly the "Don't Like" forum) and bless their hearts they couldn't help that they ended up where they did so certainly no reason for them not to be "liked" anymore. So in their honor I respectfully submit this thread and offer a few examples of these once loved but now abandoned Buicks. These are from a photo file I maintain called "Abandoned Buicks Eclectic" Edited July 30, 2020 by MrEarl Edit title to something more fitting (see edit history)

60FlatTop
That's Fred's house. I read about him. He learned enough about house wiring from online forums that he rewired his own house.... and saved enough money to buy a Buick, an Electra! DLynskey
Mr. Earl, Thanks for starting this thread. I've been photographing these neglected gems for many years. Here are some Buicks I spotted along with 200-300 other cars in Eastern Iowa about 25 years ago. I'm sure they're gone forever by now. I hope some of the parts live on in some of the Buicks on this forum. Look at that straight grille on the first one. Wouldn't that be a prize now? Elpad
Saw this 56, the 50 Super and the 53 Roadmaster today at the same place. Could not see the owner but word is that they came from Central Florida to a shop that will be open in Miami. Hear say a So. FL "Monkey Garage"? Kind of far gone thou.

It was almost sunk in the ground. Looked for it every time I came through, and one day, it was gone. I have noticed that it seems all the hoods rust like this one. I think it's because water stores in that part of the hood when you wash them. Every time I wash mine, I open the hood first thing before drying, and a TON of water runs out both sides. Hopefully, it'll help save it.

Knowing your affinity for Riviera's, this photo to you would be like showing a broken bottle of Ripple to a drunk. I'm so sorry.
