I noticed that too -- does look like it could have been born that way, huh? Ditto your remark about the cloth inserts. The original cloth/vinyl had a really classy appearance. I also like the later sport steering wheel. I don't know that I'd put one on mine, but I certainly prefer that to some generic Grant or Billet Specialties hack... cabfanatic
The 1967 Riviera looks beautiful. Has anyone seen this car in reality? The vinyl roof looks not original because it sewed on time in the middle of the roof and not on both sides. Whats your opinion about this car? Is it worth taking a closer look and riding 400 miles to see this car? Thanks

Original steering wheels pop up often - needing crack repair. I've got a nice spare horn bar you can have. Straight bumpers are getting very rare and these appear straight? cabfanatic
PWB, thanks for your info. The orginal wheels and the steering wheel are a must in this car, but i am sure i will find some. the biggest concern is the vinyl roof because of the stitching. And yes 1967 would be my favorite year besides the 1966 :). But i am not in a hurry. The aim is having a vice car for next summer...

Mitch I know that there's a green GS that was all over Craigslist that was a scam. And this ad does look different than most Ebay posts. I figured less scams would be on Ebay because there's more information about the seller available. The seller has been an Ebay member since 2004, no selling feedback, a lot of buying feedback. "455 Stage 1 original motor w/ 117,000 original miles. I drive it everyday in the summer. She's fast and mean. Needs some interior work on driver seat. Original Buick mag rims, dual pipes, metal flake charcoal grey w/ black interior. Original cassette in dash, and 8 track. DVD - CD bluetooth player with extra monitor. Make an offer. Serious perspective buyers only." No such thing as a Stage 1 in 1971, and I do not think a '71 would have an "original cassette" in the dash, 8-track probably, but not a cassette.
