I JUST LOVE THE PICTURE OF THIS BUICK...........

Recommended Posts

showed this to my wife... she said "looks like you, consumed by your hobby". Why did I marry such a smart ***?

But you know she's right, don't you Mr. Earl..........

By the way, seen "you know who" lately ?

The "girls on Buicks" thread seems to have slipped a bit.

Break out the wine and do a fresh shoot, will ya.

Back in those days, highways under construction weren't barricaded. It was OK to travel at your own risk., on unfinished roads.

Dad didn't drive onto an un- finished bridge, but he did drive off the end of the paved highway at 65mph in his brand new '56 Chevrolet station wagon. It was a drop off of about 18 inches to the sub-grade,

I was told it was quite a ride...

The first four wagons you see here all belong to friends of mine. Three Buicks and a Pontiac. This was taken at the Old Westbury Gardems car show.

Can I HEAR a BIG AMEN to that?

It's hard to dispute such a claim, IMO.

A very close 2nd. is the RM hardtop. I will NEVER forget the 1st. 1949 Buick Sweep spear car I ever saw, I was 11 years old, I BEGGED my Father to buy one. He was a Buick dealer, and although he LOVED all Buick's, he was more interested in selling, NOT buying.
