Rusty_OToole
Someone built a vintage style hearse on a late model chassis. Impossible to tell what, without more information.

Rusty_OToole
Is Rosewood a joke company or has bad taste sunk to this level?

The less said about the pseudo Royce grill the better Edited April 15, 2019 by 1939_Buick (see edit history)
Vintageben
I’m surprised that know one has said this yet but “I wouldn’t be caught dead in that vehicle “ 😁

58L-Y8
Advertisements peddling those Prinzing neo-classic replicars used to appear in Hemmings. Like most all of the genre, two words apply: ghastly and pretentious! Cars made specifically for those with NO taste and entirely TOO much money! Remember, there is a butt for every seat.

Manufactured by Baron - for some reason, titled as 32 Chrysler with Cadillac engine and sorta Rolls grill. That's not the most flattering pic but as neo-classics go, the car isn't so bad. 1937hd45
We thought the Shay "ford" was crap when they first came out. Bet you can't wait for the 25 years to pass so this stuff will be on the Hershey Show Field, you get what you ask for. 60FlatTop
If you look at ALL the work of those "accepted" coachbuilders of the 1930's there is some pretty nasty stuff that came out of their caves. Takes pretty close to a hundred views to come up with a pleasing one. And that is just visual. Lots of sins are hidden in those old ones. I bet the Rosewood cars are MIG and TIG welded steel and aluminum, not wooden boards, torch brazing, lead, and other blacksmithing techniques. For using a long wheelbase Chevy truck frame and small diameter tires, the proportions in some areas came out OK. That Chrysler roadster does look much more cobbled that Gary Cooper's Duesenberg, just the grille needs a little finessing. Sometimes I think about picking up a salvage Porsche Boxster body, stretching it out with '39 Buick fenders, and tucking a 455 between them..... or did someone do that? nzcarnerd
And remember that in 25 years this will be an 'antique' car.
