KC that does look smooth and I’ll bet you’re happy to leave the dust in the dust.  Recently I bought cheap primer for my ceiling and then followed it with a substantially more costly ceiling white.  This stuff was pink when wet and then dried bright white. The reason for this color change paint was to ensure coverage in one coat. For me, it worked out well.

Great work and keep the posts coming.

Thank you Mr Joe.  That's exactly what I used for my ceiling.  I used the Valspar brand.

This weekend, I finished up the ceiling with 2 coats of paint and then installed the strip lights.  I should have them wired up next weekend.20181007_201609.thumb.jpg.68d99bb3765a2037b0da6c5fafa00c4d.jpg20181007_201552.thumb.jpg.177b1874a1835c88b242039c3cf2b533.jpg

KC that looks great - and it looks very bright in there.  Will you be putting a plywood bottom under that bench?  You’ll need all the flat surfaces you can get so you can pile them high with junk!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Mr Joel.  It is very bright in the garage right now.  My wife has complained about that.  It's the reason why I went with a darker grey.  So that the darker color can absorb some of that light.  As for the bottom portion of my work bench, I already had a piece of plywood cut out that fits underneath.  I have already put that back in.  I will post a picture next chance I get.

Looking good.  I need to paint my garage walls.  Just the unfinished drywall.

Thank you as well.

Today, I was able to finish the rest of the painting.  As you can see, the color we chose was "55 Buick AC evaporator box grey".  Sike!  Just a coincidence...or maybe not.  20190203_170048.thumb.jpg.769863b4e0a78e8a6a6a1efb168860be.jpg20190203_170103.thumb.jpg.291d0a6d3534b6dc83bc62dff1a465dc.jpg20190203_170134.thumb.jpg.d48cbbd2d266aacdd44d147bfc290a43.jpg20190203_170143.thumb.jpg.9d001026314ade9aacb7be6d6ec3f6ae.jpg20190203_170157.thumb.jpg.4fee10100cd6f04fc073a3efd360803f.jpg20190203_170213.thumb.jpg.076805604ad002ead52d0228f3127e9d.jpg20190203_170243.thumb.jpg.585a105d4575e0240cb0d52a29f9b1ef.jpgNext weekend, I can finally start cleaning the mess and organize the garage.  Probably will take a couple weekends to do.  Either way, the end is near and I will be starting work back up on the Buick soon!  It's been way too long.

I Finally starting to move my tools back into the work bench area.  20190217_213610.thumb.jpg.499b1f9857a3cad907c3453373e9ba91.jpgI also moved some things back onto the shelving unit and touched up a few areas with some paint.  Clean up and organization already in progress.  I even got the stair handrails mounted in place.20190216_190728.thumb.jpg.c81c411550c7f53108a53bc20edb8b21.jpg20190216_190742.thumb.jpg.d0203e0e773a5112774ceef8680e5351.jpgNext weekend I will probably start working on the decorative caps for the stairway.  My beautiful wife wants it stained.  I will also continue to tie up loose ends...which seem to be a lot.
