Did Chevy have Hydraulic brakes in 1935 ? -
If I remember right some of the early Hot Rod guys used these for Gas Car material.

I reassembled the clutch unit on my 1922 Big Six. I bought a special size used motor for parts. The clutch seems to be the same. I think the light 6 used a cone clutch. If you carefully study the factory repair manual you can see by using the wood block spacer the unit can be removed in one piece. If you don't all the pieces fall apart. Remember the springs have torsion that can hurt you. I would post on the Studebaker page looking for a source of new linings. I have no parts for sale. Good Luck

Chrysler products around 1928 used the Oil Vac oil pump. It sat outside the block on the passenger side of the engine. It had a inlet and a outlet port for the oil and a 3rd line went to it. The flow of the oil created a suction and the 3rd line went to the vacuum gasoline canister This is one of the few examples of the term "It Sucks" is good. .

I spotted this guy making his rounds Wednesday afternoon. It reminded me to never underestimate the ingenuity of "Older Men" . I am still curious if he was able to get off his cart.

Recently while using my trusty Siphon gun (I have used it 60 yrs) it rocked and parts flew out the nozzle. Shortly thereafter the Space Station reported unidentified objects flying by. I have tried to find a exact replacement but have been unable to do so. . Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks and enjoy the upcoming Holidays with families and friends.

You might also spray WD-40 into the backing plate area This will allow parts to slide after soaking a while. Your probably going to replace the shoes anyway.

I would guess the brake shoes have bonded to the drum. Much like a clutch disk bonding to the flywheel I would adjust the top brake adjusters so the shoes move away from the drum. Slow and easy is the word as you don't want to damage the wood wheel,

I am guessing this is came with a 2 cylinder opposed air cooled engine. -
I would post on the forum page of the car in question. Everyone has spare parts and are willing to help. At Hershey I have seen many 5 gal buckets full of early wheel hardware.
