Was part of the Mark Smith collection featuring 100+Classic Cars stored in Lynchburg Va. warehouses that sold in 2022. True Model 561 Convertible-not a hacked up coupe. Now in Northern Va, 2 hours South of Carlisle. It was probably in dry storage for 30 years. Unibody construction is solid. Some crusty rust on transmission crossmember and suspension components. I put a water pump in it along with rebuilding the carburetor and fuel pump along with flushing the radiator,gas tank and adjusted the valves. Gas tank was drained when placed in storage, Motor has good compression and runs great. Car still has original shocks and exhaust system. True Miles unknown. Title shows Mileage/ TMU. Bottom white paint and convertible top replaced before storage. Crack in front windshield. Will 'yard drive' in 1st, 2nd and Reverse. Transmission is loud./noisy. Brakes need overhaul. Will include good used transmission with sale. Looks to have had a new top installed along with 4 Sears bias ply tires before placed in storage 30 years ago. Door pillars solid as a rock. Doors don't sag and close with great gaps. Lights, turn signals and wipers work. Assorted dings and a dent on PS side fender. Upholstery is crumbling. Call for more info. Smaller 28/29 cab for big/tall guys. I've seen the cut back seat spring area to gain more space. 30/31 cabs are roomier.

That's what they pay insurance for. Was the oil slick from the Lincoln or another tow earlier in the day. We'd be interested in knowing what happened.

Try Mr. Earl in the pre war Buick forum. Several years ago I sold him a 36 Model 80 he used for yard art. Motor was satill in it but I can't remember if manifolds were on it. I think /36 was one year only for that design on the big motor

I've received photos of a a vehicle in Ames Iowa and have an interest in it- but not much is revealed about the undercarriage. Its a 40's Chevrolet Truck. It's been in storage for years and I know what will be involved in getting it back up and running. I'm in VA and have no friends etc in the area. I'd gladly reimburse someone for their time or provide a gift card etc to the restaurant/movie theatre etc of their choice etc. I just would like to know it isn't a rust bucket underneath or cobbled together.
