  4. Trying to replace 2 tubular rear shocks on an old hot rod built in 59. Year/make application chart won't help on this modified arrangement. One is marked : Autolite AJ18U60B REAR The other is marked 4146429 REAR Both have ford script logos logos stamped on the housings I've tried monroe and other cross references with no luck. Maybe someone could refer a outfit that stocks a lot of old NOS or NORS shocks-Thanks in advance

  8. Look up history on the company. They were built in Wisconisin by same company that made heat exchangers to keep seasonal company production line busy. as well They also produced 'Yardman" garden tractors which were built like little tanks-very rugged.

  10. Just acquired a 68 Cutlass Supreme with automatic and console shifter. Not a horse shoe /double blade style shifter but a single stalk with knob a 'T' style finger grip. Got it running and noticed right away there are absolutely no detents between any of the positions. Shifted it and tested all aspects and it moves forward and reverse just fine but really dangerous with no detent/lockouts. It almost rolled of lift. I'm looking into where I can find breakdown/diagram and source for parts to determine what might be missing. I'm new to Oldsmobile and any help/advice would be appreciated. I'd lik
