  1. Amen TAKerry-photos taken to demonstrate as found. We didn't even run a hose over it. Documents verify miles. original tires still on car. if I was lucky enough to own it I'd get it mechanically roadworthy and spend countless hours wet sanding and compounding the finish that was weathered to exposure on the open portions of the car port.
  2. Well-There is no supercharger-but a 4BBL carburetor. Does anybody know of any other modifications? Possibly different heads? Thanks again for shedding light on the subject
  3. Well-its in a 64 hawk. any idea what the difference is in a R2 motor? Mine has a 4 BBL carb. Thanks
  4. Motor block in Hawk is marked "JTK308" I believe the JT designates an "R" series motor. Can anyone help me decipher what the JTK stands for. Thanks in advance.
  5. Go to the auctionzip site and see the photographs of the car in the carport it called home until 2 months ago. Please note the 1983 Virginia Inspection sticker. Va. tags on auto expired in '84.   7. Off road since 2010. Just had shop go through the radiator, rebuilt carb and fuel pump. new belts/hoses and tuneup. Still needs some sorting out on brakes. Very solid car underneath with rockers/floors/inner sills all in great shape. Good canvas top and bows. $6250.00 for this car.   13. Run it off a remote fuel tank fopr test. I've had the selaer come loose off the insides of a "sealed' tank and plug up fuel pickup tube. Also-a faulty condensor can drive you crazy.
