I would post on the Pontiac page. They used this bore for a long time and someone must have a parts engine apart with a good piston. Shake the Bushes and you will find one.

America's First Car to Exceed 100 MPH Is Headed to Auction

The quote is not mine. I also read it and find it useful when used in a relevant discussion. I never quite had a good grasp on the correct use of American grammar. I grew up in the poor working end of town and not to be bragging , became tri-lingual . I speak English , Hillbilly and Jive. I worked in the "Trades" and never found a person I could'nt talk to. -
I would contact John Smeltzer, He is a helpful person and has early 20's Hudsons parts. He in in NC. jsmeltzer37@gmail.com

A 6/12 volt bulb type test light is what you would use to trace the power in your circuit. They are inexpensive and will allow you to see where the power stops. Not Rocket Science but requires effort on the part of the car owner.

Circa 1910 chain drive forward control boxer twin truck chassis
DFeeney replied to John E. Guitar's topic in What is it?
I realize the differential normally allows for different speeds of the axle or sprockets. Most cars only drive with one wheel, Hence if your right rear wheel is spinning in mud , the left side will not drive unless you have some kind of positraction or locked axle. The early chain drive cars must have had some type of limited slip or they only needed one chain. What am I missing when I try to construct this drive in my mind. I have asked this question in the past and never got a answer. Back in the Day this information was known by many but most have "Passed" -

I would like to know if these era chain drive units had a limited slip set up. It seems like the chains needed to run at different speeds in turns but yet still be able to drive. I have watched the "Back in the day" film of the Vanderbuilt cars and they seem to driving with both wheels in the turns. Can anyone enlighten me. thanks in advance. -

Think of a Spark Plug that you can take apart and replace any one part.

Thanks to all who brought me up to date on mid 30's GM cars. At 79 I remember seeing a lot of these cars when I would ride my bike behind the neighborhood gas stations. -

Does anyone know if GM used this same body shell on the 1936 Chevy coupe. I heard somewhere that the 36 Chevy used the A Body where the higher priced cars used the B Body.
