Paul Dobbin
Every guy deserves a pickup truck. Great utility vehicle but 3 was to many. Kept the 35 Ford pickup and the El Camino, sold the Ranchero.Added narrow white walls to the El Camino. Funny story about the Ranchero: Just before I sold it, I was at Walmart and heard aa woman say to her kids: "Look a 57 Ford", I thought she was well informed and as I drove past, she said: "Oh, somebody made it into a pickup". Edited March 7, 2023 by Paul Dobbin re-position text (see edit history) 1
rocketraider
Isn't that what Ford itself did, lopping the roof off a Ranch Wagon? 😁 Still wish I'd know your Ranchero was for sale. It would have had a nice home here in Southside Vajenya. Seems those are a little easier to find unmolested than ElCamino are. Every EC I've found the last several years has been "personalized" with stuff it would take me a lot of time and money to correct. Not to the extent of the customized 1961 Dodge, but all the stereotypical cool-Chevy-guy cliches. Am I the A-hole for liking my old cars the way the factories built them?🙁
