TerryB
That styling set Plymouth apart from the rest for sure. The dash continued the unique look of the vehicle. Back in 1961 I thought this style could not compete with the 1961 Chevrolet and I still hold with that observation today😀. This is a really nice car for those who want something different.
suchan
Nice, clean, low mileage car. Not sure any six cylinder sedan, especially early sixties Mopar, is worth the asking, though.
EmTee
Nice example of a weird looking car.
plymouthcranbrook
A nice car for sure but the price seems to indicate a hope of early retirement. Probably been looking at E-Bay prices again.
The 55er
They say there's an a** for every seat but at $23.5K I don't know about about this one. Seller is searching for a REALLY unique time traveller IMO. As always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Nice jack instructions.
Bleach
I'm suspicious of the engine. I always thought they were painted an redish-orange back then.
JACK M
I would lay odds that all this needs is a fuel sender. I think it can be replaced without removing the tank. A 15 minute job. But a lot of $ for a 4,000 dollar car. Edited January 9, 2022 by JACK M (see edit history)

kingrudy
If your dream has always been to have a car just like your mom's when you were a kid. Here you go. Four doors, slant six and funny upholstery, what's not to love? Did I forget to mention the low, low price of 24,500?

Rivguy
I used to think that these cars were grotesque, now I think that they're cool but still grotesque! My Dad had a cheapo, three on the tree, two door '61 Dodge Seneca, equally weird. I got to drive that for a year. It did grow on me though. I love the Slant Six, looks like an octopus hanging onto a log. Price is way out of line, will chase away any serious suitors. 3

The price of crab locally is about $10.00/lb. If this car weighs around 3700 lbs, at $24,000. the cost would be under $6.50/lb. Such a deal! The owner is gradually realizing what you knew all along. This also shows that, when a Craig's List ad is removed, the car is not necessarily sold.
