Period images to relieve some of the stress

Old unknown dealership, hopefully someone is looking for a photo of it. The structure has some very unique features..

Says it's 1107 Chicago Ave Evanston Illinois.

Google maps has no such structure when viewing street view so this photo may be exactly what someone is needing for historical purposes.

Anyone recognize the make of vehicles inside?

People with hats loved 1906 Thomas Flyers. Can't read the sign on the center photo.

Th3e centre photo is quite low res but I can see on the first line - ???? December 25 '08 and on the last line Vic Hanson and Young Coffy.

The center photo the first line is "this Afternoon December 25 08" and I think it was a boxing match with the guy with the bottle of stout.

Is a model T for touring,  R is roadster and S is six cylinder

Partly right - According to The Standard Catalog they are three different size cars. Model R - three different roadsters, 30 hp 100" wheelbase, Model T - touring 30 hp 112" wheelbase, Model S 6 cylinder, touring 50 hp `130" wheelbase.

Circa 1913 - Sutter and Van Ness corner in SF.

Can anyone confirm this to be a Simplex-Mercer location for others who might be looking for it?

Photo says it's a Goodyear dealership.

It won't open. I'd like to see any MERCER photos. Bob

Here is the attached wording

View is of the two-story white building at the northwest corner of Sutter and Van Ness, containing a Goodyear tire dealership and the Simplex-Mercer Pacific Coast Agency. An automobile is parked in front of the Goodyear dealership. A United Railroads #101-180 series car is eastbound on the #2 Clement line. According to "The White Front Cars of San Francisco" by Charles Smallwood, these cars were built in 1911 and transferred to the Haight Street lines in 1913, thereby dating the photo. Also, Muni's H Van Ness line, built in 1914, is not yet in evidence."
