At the Craigdarroch Castle built in the 1890 best the wealthiest person on the west coast of Canada. Great house to tour, the inside is just amazing. Oh the car, 1953 Super convertible Matador Red. RivNut
I just realized after I posted above that Jason's (JRZ) previous post was number 150,000 to the Buick General forum.. That has to be some kind of milestone. ???????? Edited August 31, 2018 by RivNut (see edit history)

RivNut
The car was his daily driver. He built it in stages. In the article, the author explains how the car was built in stages so that he could continue to drive it as he worked on it. Thus picture is from one of the earlier stages. Great car , biased as Ruby’s twin , how do tell a super from a special at a glance is it the rear extra side trim I know super is bigger , but that’s not obvious unless side by side. Ben Bruce aka First Born
"how to tell+++++" . The most obvious to me is the "line " from the front fender to the back drops WAY more on the Super. Of course, the Special rear fenders are part of the body versus bolted on on the Super.. Both beautiful Ben
