Dandy Dave
It is a thing that goes along with being an Artist. First thing they tell you in an art class, if they are good, is to look beyond what you see. It is not the single color, but the reflected light and shadows that make a picture stand out. Dandy Dave! MrEarl
Would like to know more about her. Are there more pictures? Would like to see the front and rear section..I agree Martin, a front view of that pose could be very revealing and of much interest. But I suspect the photographer retained those in his private collection.
RivNut
When you say "her" are you referring to the girl or the car. Why does Lamar want to see a front view that would be more "revealing."
Martin Monsjou
Sorry, I hope I didn't offended someone. lets be clear about it, at the end I was referring to the Buick. I am not sure if a Buick is a she or a he. Because off its beauty I use the word 'she'.About the woman. In general they deserve my highest respect! Is the car known to anybody? Is she made by Buick or did someone a hell off a job?
RivNut
1969 Buick Century CruiserIts design is unmistakably inspired by 1960s futuristic aerospace influences and though it was based on the 1964 Firebird IV concept, the Century Cruiser had its own significance. Aside from a refrigerator, television set, and front luggage compartment that adjusted for easier access, this concept previewed autonomous driving, something the industry is still working on today. When the driver enters an “automatic highway,” the car was said to automatically drive its occupants to their exit, using a punch card with programmed route. From there, the driver would take back control of the arm-rest-mounted control grips. The Century Cruiser also previewed a long-range two-way telephone designed for hands-free use. - See more at: http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2013/12/20/buick-narrows-down-its-top-concept-cars/#sthash.slWEuBhV.dpufMore: http://www.carstyling.ru/en/car/1969_buick_century_cruiser/More +: http://oldconceptcars.com/1930-2004/buick-century-cruiser-1969/More ++: http://www.95customs.com/the-1969-buick-century-cruiser-concept/2014/12/17If you type "Buick Century Cruiser" into your Google browser, you can find a lot more.Ed Edited February 28, 2015 by RivNut (see edit history)
