What do you suppose it is that attracts girls and makes them want to pose on a beautiful old Buick. Looks as though it has always been. Got such a photo? Let us see it. I'll start it off with this oldie and one of my 54 Roadmaster and a longtime friend of the family, Terry

"We did,nt allow things like that in a Buick Factory Dealership."

THAT may account for the slide in sales. Of course, these days, most car sheet metal is too thin to even support the thinnest of models.....

Or maybe there should be the Victoria's Secret edition of the new Lucerne.....

Mr. Earl, et. al.

After seeing the pics of Teri on the hood of Buttercup, I wanted to talk my bosses wife into posing on the hood of my Wildcat. You said they were the same model year and both were unmodified. I then realized that along with the fact that it wouldn't be a good career move to ask her to "don a swimsuit and climb aboard a Wildcat". Besides....they're both modified. (Lightly, tastefully, and well done.) wink.gif

In 1976 a girl named Becky in a wet bathing suit threw herself onto the windshield of my 71 Skylark. She had a thing for my friend George who was in the front seat. When she heard he was outside, she crawled out of the pool and at a full run leaped onto the hood then just plastered herself on the windshield. Took three of us to peel her off...made a big sucking sound. Becky was a nice girl,I guess, just had a weak moment. I think I would have enjoyed it...but I really liked that Skylark and I thought she dented the hood. She had big legs. I've tried to forget....but this brought it all back.

here's my contribution.

Would you settle for a 34 Buick girl on a 38?

The story here is when I first got this 38 ( too many years ago!) , a neighbour on the corner stopped me and said, " I used to drive an old Buick and before I traded it in, I took off the hood ornament. If you want it you can have it.' Well I said sure, not knowing what he had. I was floored when he dug around in his tool box and pulled out this Buick flying lady.

I had to put it on the 38 to show it off and to show my appreciation for the gift. I drove it to high school with this on the car. It has since come off and I have the lady in the house now.

Derek, don't tell Carol that I have her tucked away and secretly lust after a 34 coupe to put her on.

If you know Manitoba plates, you'll recognize that as a 1971 plate... now thats old!

Or maybe there should be a swimsuit edition of the Bugle? Boy, THAT will heat up the letters to the editor section! </div></div>

What better way to change/reverse the current old folks car image.

Either way I volunteer to screen the applicants and take the pictures laugh.gif

How about it Mr New Bugle editor, Mr Phillips........... grin.gif

Cool thread.

BuickRacer, you can sit on my hood anytime....wait, <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> I don't own a Buick, but my buddy Earl Beauchamp does. I'll set it up when Judy's not home. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Loved the picture of Mrs. Bewitched. I always watched her shows.
