  1. The Standard Catalog of American Cars 1805-1942 is an excellent resource. You can usually find a copy at your local public library. The Buick A Complete History also lists the info you seek and it goes beyond 1942.
  2. If you want an original, it must be for show judging rather than for function. I may have one from a Buick that fits a Marvel Carburetor.
  3. The short answer is YES. Springs can be compressed to form a contour to the rear of the seat that will also be more comfortable for passengers.

  12. Yes, she did, but I let her know I would buy her a replacement if it sold with the truck.
  13. I think it would make for a good parts car for my 1924 Master Buick Cut-Down pickup. Mine is done and for sale for only $12,500 with all the original tools, spare head, etc.
  14. I suggest you give up looking for a hen's tooth & just make the bearings, seals and shaft if needed.

  16. You probably need to clean the contacts at the bottom of the steering column. If that doesn't work, check the bulb contacts too.
  17. I have a 1931 Model 67. Is that the same as yours?
  18. Drove the 24 Buick PU from the Buick Barn to the home shop yesterday. It needs some cleaning and polish before this Saturday for an invitation only event. Hemmings is doing an article with photos of local car collectors involved with CarBuff Network.com.
