Not because of the car, but because of the errors in the description. In 1966, the MX code was used to designate a small block 340 or 350 engine. The ultra rare 2x4 Super Wildcat was coded MZ. All other Rivieras were MW. That's all the farther I read. How many more errors are there?

RivNut
There's a 64 Riviera on Bring a Trailer but I didn't post the link. I didn't think anyone here would be interested in a Riviera powered by a 429 Cadillac. Nice looking car, but .........

I have seen several Riviera listings on CL today that are on several city sites. It's hard to tell if some are scams or just sellers attempts for maximum visibility. Unfortunately mass postings like this don't seem to generate any red flags with CL administrators (it should in my opinion). Sometimes I wonder if the whole system is being run by a Masters Degree recipient who still lives with his parents in their basement and has a server farm down there. :-P
JZRIV
In most cases you just have to ask yourself, "does it look too good to be true". If answer is yes then the scam antennas go up. If that 65 listing was legit it would have been sold quickly and probably without even listing it. Following basic rules there is no reason for anyone to get caught in a scam from CL. The great thing about CL is its free, if they go and hire a CL watchdog team to start monitoring the millions of listings, it won't be free. Have to take good with bad. I choose free!

Hazdaz
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1965-buick-riviera-6/ This color combination is stunning in my opinion. My '64 is a similar exterior, but combine that with the tan/brown interior - WOW. BTW, is it me, or does that nailhead seem to "shake" more than normal when he popped the hood? I don't have any other ones to go by, but the one in the video seems like it vibrates more than I was expecting. Could be just my imagination. RivNut
I saw this same car. Interesting interior. Standard seats with no buttons. Custom interior wood grain panels on standard door panels. Terrible fit on the headliner. My 64 was that color when I got it; nor of the first things I decided to change. Just stating my humble opinion.
