  1. Plus, the spring-loaded emblem kept folks from ripping them off the car hood. I'm thinking it's a '90's emblem.
  2. Leather Steering Wheel Covers Manufacturer and Distributor (wheelskins.com) is the site to go to for a new steering wheel wrap. Strip off the old and install the new.
  3. Also, the part number for the 15" hubcap is 1645004, and for the "16 hubcap is 3521602. As Barney says, the round "R" logo disc is the same size for all years.
  4. I use a local auto garage whenever I've had to change/replace tires on my '91 Reatta's white wheels. They're always very careful to not damage/chip the wheel paint.
  5. Besides dumpster picking, there's nothing more exhilarating than spending a morning/afternoon at an auto "pick n' pull".
  6. My dad and I used to go local town dump picking in the early sixties before most towns/cities switched over to transfer stations. Just recently, my son went to his local transfer station with his son/my grandson. They actually found a 50" flat screen tv over to the side that actually worked when they brought it home. My grandson to it to his college fraternity house to use.
  7. I was 40 years old in 1989! Father of two teenage boys at the time to boot!
  8. I bought my first car in 1966. It was a 1956 Merc 2 door hardtop with a 292ci and four-barrel carburetor, with a three-speed manual tranny. Previous owner had converted the three-speed from the tree to the floor with a spring-loaded neutral. That way one could do a "fast throw" from 1st to 2nd. The car cost me $35. I could only afford used tires, so I had to put a snow tire on the right front. I figured if I happen to hit a curb, the snow tire would absorb the hit better than a regular tire. Sold the Merc a year later for $50.
  9. Dandy Dave, PLEASE keep that Riviera convertible in the garage and safe during NY winters!
