    My house backs to cornfields. I-55 is cornfields, soybeans, and windmills. I'm rolling 75 mph the whole way, except around Bloomington where the cops like to hide.

    Yep, it broke. Or a gear. Heard a whining noise for 30 seconds then it stopped, and no speedometer or odometer function. Are they going to have to remove the dashboard? Also, is the cruise control connected with that cable or is it separate?

    Only 2 hours drive for me, so I was thinking of going this year. Is it worth it? BTW, the dates are 09/27 - 09/29.

    Thinking of going to Mecum in Indianapolis, which is 10/03 - 10/05 this year, Thursday - Saturday. Thinking of going for just 1 long or maybe 2 days. So which are typically the best days to see the rarest cars (not planning on buying)? Do they front load the best cars, or hold them back until the end? Also, any hotel recommendations? The closest are likely $150+

    Maybe you have a friend who can store it? Fellow car club member? If you don't want to spend the money to get the car roadworthy then I'd list your location a little more specifically to help people decide whether to go further.

    That's quite a car. Can you provide more info on the paint level monitoring?

    Google has this. If you're using a phone, put your destination in, then hit "directions." You'll see the start and end point, then there's 3 vertical dots next to origin. Hit that and you can "add stop" plus other options. It might look a little different on an iphone but it's probably not much different.

    If you're listing an item for sale and that site has a link to a payment system (like ebay has paypal) then use that only. That way there is a CHANCE if there's a problem it is more likely to be fixed.
