  1. Join a marque club and meet other owners, especially the older guys who have been chasing your car of choice for the past 30 or more years. There are always a few of those owners who have a considerable stash including used drivetrain and suspension parts plus accumulated overhaul and trim parts. One stop shopping with one of those owners will make your project considerably easier and you’ll probably get some very valuable advice with your purchases. Many of the long time owners are excited to help and see their parts live on in other vehicles.
  2. Some pictures need no explanation…
  3. There are a number of stories out there regarding no name generic e-bike batteries which caught fire while charging and caused significant house and building fires. The few dollars saved on cheaper replacement batteries doesn’t begin to make it worth the risk of starting a fire
  4. Based on my reading of many forum comments regarding the 32 Buick Wizard system I’m amazed that you have it working flawlessly and enjoyed it so much. We’re the roads generally flat or were large hills involved?
  5. Not mine…great sheetmetal and seems all there and original. 6 cylinder engine. If I was closer… https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/sheridan-1932-chrysler/7739218289.html Owner Contact: Derek Thelen 307-752-4538. per owner: “1932 chrysler cl car has not been used since 1969.its all there and decent shape for its age.”
  6. Not mine…completely disassembled in organized fashion but apparently all there…there are a few additional pictures in the ad. https://slo.craigslist.org/cto/d/san-luis-obispo-jaguar-xk140-barn-find/7733098813.html owner contact email: 7d10891578f03df780b7628068128a19@sale.craigslist.org per owner in Craigslist ad: “March 1955 build XK 140, Chassis # S811xxx -Body type is OTS, aka Open Two Seater/roadster. -SE package, MC in the States, wire wheels, twin exhaust, C type cylinder head. -Making this a XK140 OTS SE, or XK140 MC Roadster. Barn Find?... sure, why not, my barn...your find...never lost, I've been seeing it almost everyday of my life for the last 52 years... Car is complete with matching numbers, original engine block, C Type cylinder head and transmission. Factory color is Pearl Grey, with a thin cheap red layer sprayed on decades ago. Most important points; -No cancer and no collision damage. -Minor surface rust, oxidation, driver's door has minor body filler. -Body is very straight and with a perfect chassis. -An at home DIY restorer can restore this car. -If you have restored a MG A , Triumph TR or a big Austin Healey, you can restore this. -It is that straight. Really, it is that nice. Family owned since August 1972. Running until engine/trans removed in October 1978. From ‘72 through ‘82, was stored outside under a wood lean-to in semi arid Pasadena area. Garage stored since ‘82, making ‘82 through current stored inside (ongoing 40+ years). Last registration was 50+ years ago, it is out of the DMV system, I’m looking for pink. $33k. Email is best to start. If things get serious, then we can exchange cell numbers. Cheers!”
  7. It’s cleaner than Ed’s Buick as well. That’s why they made him park it outside! 😁
  8. Great to hear the car is recovered!
  9. It’s a D50 or D60 based on the position of the headlights relative to the grill
  10. Only $75,000? What a deal! And it appears to be in absolutely great shape too!!
  11. What Matt said. But also how much value you attach to the car supposedly being driveable from day one without significant additional expenditures. There are more exotic body styles at $60K but most are just the down payment. $60K will buy a fantastic car if you can live with a four door sedan…
