  1. Hello everyone, I’m looking at purchasing a 1928 Dodge Victory Six, but I’m wondering how good parts availability is on these? I wouldn’t want to buy it if parts were unobtainable. Thanks for any info you can give me!
  2. By more practical I mean strictly in the sense that it has more storage and usable rear seats.
  3. The previous owner that this guy got it from swore that those colors on the rims and car are accurate to when it was new, I just wonder who walked into a dealership and ORDERED that combo 😂
  4. I put the spoiler on the fiat, thought it was funny lol. Thankfully didn’t have to do any drilling so it would come off without damaging the car.
  5. That was my original plan, but that 850 has proven to be pretty impossible to sell despite its condition.
  6. The whitewalls are a bit older, I think about 10 years old, but there’s no evidence of cracking so I’ll probably run them for a while. Personally I like the whitewall look lol
  7. Well the fiat is super small, it has no storage whatsoever. The Model A however I could take grocery shopping with how much room it has. That’s the difference in practicality to me.
  8. Mine isn’t, that’s why I was drawn to it to begin with. It’s a rare survivor 850 lol. It’s just not practical enough, with a model A I could actually do an errand run in that.
  9. I plan on putting an overdrive in it and finding some period correct accessories for it.
  10. I’m with ya on the rims, but according to the owner that’s the factory correct color that it would have came with new, and I like the whitewalls so I can’t promise that 🤣🤣
  11. Hello everyone! I recently have been working on a possible trade, I have two classic cars I’m trading as a package deal, one needing a resto and the other being almost turnkey but not perfect. The one needing a restoration is a 53 studebaker champion starlight coupe. The drivetrain seems healthy, but it needs a bit of everything. I’ll attach a picture but keep in mind it photographs a bit better than it looks IRL. The other car is a 1972 Fiat 850 Spider. Good little car, needs some maintenance but that’s about it. Fun car, but not practical and it seems like they’re near impossible to sell. The car I’m most likely trading for is a 1930 Ford model A. Other than needing a detail and a couple small cosmetic touchups, it’s perfect. Everything works, runs and drives like new. Value wise, it’s an even trade, but Im just double guessing myself lol. What do y’all think? I’ve attached pictures of all 3.
  12. It's not as rough as it looks, not to say it isn't rough lol. The pictures make the rust issues look a lot worse than they actually were, just really ugly surface rust for the most part. The whole car is remarkably solid.
  13. I actually owned that exact car for a while before selling it, other than the driver's side floor pan and one hole in the fender, as far as rust went it was surprisingly solid and only went skin deep. 90% surface rust, and looked a million times worse than it actually was. Ended up buying it back and I'm working on the restoration currently!
  14. I’m pretty sure the commanders and champions shared the same body but had different drivetrains, I may be wrong though.
