  1. Go to the Reatta Owners Forum at Options for replacing rear struts needed. - Reatta Owners Journal Forum - Reatta Owners Journal Forums to read all the info related the rear strut issues with the Reatta all-years and Riviera '86-'93.
  2. Now that you came up with a solution, don't tell anybody you messed up! Tell everyone you planned this construction setup.
  3. Yeah, I don't think those guys in white shirts and ties would be in any previous production lines.
  4. Yeah, I know what you mean. Two years ago, I finally re-labeled my panel legibly after 27 years of wear and tear on pencil/marker/pen/bad handwriting on the old stick-on sheet.
  5. Very nice-looking 6th generation Riviera!
  6. I also agree .... that motorcycle was modified into an Ice saw. I spent my mid youth in Holbrook, MA (1959-1969). About a half mile from our home, there was a huge lake where two big ice houses were located on its shore. A rusted out motorized ice saw was left abandoned on the premises.
  7. The only issue I've had at age 73 is vertigo while lying under my Reatta trying to get to the oil filter!
  8. Scrutinize the sub-frames before you purchase. The last generation sub-frames are notorious for rust and corroded bushings.
  9. Don't tell my high school English teacher that!
  10. On my property I have a one car garage and a Shelter-logic igloo for my 2 hobby cars.
  11. I had a '99 Eldo and I currently have a '00 Eldo. Both had/have the NorthStar engine. Neither one gave/give me problems. I believe that by '98 and later, the NorthStar was re-engineered sufficiently to give an owner minimum issues.
  12. Same to you and your family, Mr. Earl.
  13. In my town, only one unregistered car is allowed on your property, and it must be garaged at all times, not out in the open.
  14. Plymouth, Massachusetts. Mayflower II.
  15. I have a one-car igloo that I store my Reatta in from Nov to Apr each year. I fill tuna cans with moth balls and place the cans around and under the car. I never put moth balls inside the car.... can't stand the lingering smell in an interior. In nine years of igloo storage, I've never has a mouse problem. And I do know they're present in my back acreage.
  16. Buick on Rock Auto goes back to 1924 on my pc.
  17. I meant to type "120 volt" but Microsoft s/w auto typed in "amp" instead. I should have pre-read before submitting the reply button. I don't remember the max on one circuit.
  18. In Massachusetts, electric code requires that all new and/or updated residential construction have minimum 120-amp outlets every 6 feet.
  19. Wasn't it also at the 2007 ROA meet in Asheville, NC along with the Silver Arrow? If you were at the back of the hotel looking out at the member Rivieras, the GM cars were displayed way in the upper left of the parking lot...kinda almost hidden from the main car show area and near the "for sale" cars.
  20. Many thanks for the info. I just bought 2 sets of Victor head gaskets on eBay that are appropriate for my '91 Reatta. Will put them in inventory.
  21. If you prefer a printed '91 Reatta/Riviera Service Manual, you can also find them on eBay for short money.
