  1. Chris No did not use the tilt post I think that was only to gain access the trunk on a sedan. I think I still have one.
  2. When I did my 35 roadster I found the same difference. I had to modify the base of post to aim at the hole.
  3. Jerrys 37 coupe was a Hershey for sale By Hyman ltd. I was told he bought the 37 and the coke truck. Maybe just selling for Holly but he usually buys outright.
  4. I have reproduced the shock link seal. 2 different sizes.
  5. It was still available on Friday. I think it was being sold by the same guy that bought your 37.
  6. Don't worry, if you fill to much it will leak out. Put the fill hole about 2 to 3 oclock.
  7. About .010 end play. You are going to have to clean up both surfaces and possibly machine some off the casting to get the end plate closer. If you fill half way it will leak out. Fill to just below the bottom of shaft.
  8. The 2 slotted holes are where the front support mounts. The photo I posted is a repop that has not been drilled. For a 31 president.
  9. I have repaired several of these. That back is a dipper that feeds oil in that spiral shaft. Studebaker had many bearing designs that were bad. This was very good if you had oil in there. That shaft is very hard but you can clean it up in the lathe. If the casting is worn it can be bushed. Of course John Cislaks mod is nice.
  10. My spaces are next to George. Truck is stuffed with stude parts. Limited space for the reproduction rubber parts. If anyone wants running boards delivered contact me today.
  11. This is what I have for hinge support. I believe it is for 31 president at the radiator.
  12. Did you contact L&L? I heard they were back supplying the running board trim.
  13. How long is your hood center? Found this today when searching for something else. Also have the end cap at cowl.
  14. I know where there are 2 president coupes for sale. One has spare front fenders and the other spare grille.
  15. What is wrong with that hinge? looks good. I have plenty of the hood rear hinge covers. email studerex@aol.com
  16. I have two 35 sedan front doors. Are the regulators the same?
  17. That is a open fitting. You need a smaller hole. Mine were mounted at the upper filter side.
  18. As Gary mentioned, be sure one of the fittings on the pressure side is a restricted type. Or you will be dumping oil pressure.
  19. If your engine is the 226 than this 41 engine photo should be close to the same oil line routing. Pressure line from left side of motor and return below canister.
  20. 36 Studebaker was the first car to use fram. See history https://www.fram.com/about-us/history/
