Here's one on Ebay that sounds very similar (same?): https://www.ebay.com/itm/386283152657?hash=item59f0452511:g:CxsAAOSwjAtlU7GW&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4C5Z2QSIFkdWw47tPiZ4V2j819dyEbaHkbrv8npPO2WtNfLSKiMRX0MfxOZNkSwrpYmiuU%2FufQmZD9%2BPeiTQz4cIbqvezjx0wRMtGhwuSYK22B1mu%2BiEkIqfuxN7cQxLUN0tBv4hkteuV8xKVRcYk%2FJXbXKGjgmFVUnpjP2yn97jg26FWARjOeVUS2pj3AQ0upXxe0JrcCRN0kPmKORF66a1atf%2BZ9MlOqPu0N1FedgmdbkgVLEHUGdKhRQDu7QcQyho7PU4oXLtLZ9gn3of3373X%2F%2FIVpeJ1FrTvDKkHwDa|tkp%3ABk9SR7D2tJ76Yg&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5338071934&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1 This one has the AM/FM radio

Rivieras and Riviera parts for sale on local Craigslist, eBay, etc.
EmTee replied to RivNut's topic in Buick Riviera
Looks like a nice low-mileage Riviera, but not a 'boat-tail'. The boat-tail (aka: 3rd generation) ran from 1971 through 1973. -
An ankle-high nylon stocking installed under the hose on the upper tank nipple will trap any loose crud, including fine material.

I believe the grommet was only used with carpeting. My '38 has a rubber mat with no grommet around the hole.

Looks like you and I will never be bored!

I'd like to see that!

Seems like strong money for a fairly plain Catalina, however, mileage is on-par with my GP and the condition is very nice original. Wrinkled driver's side sail panel makes me suspect a leaky rear window gasket. Need to check inside the trunk... If I wanted one I would definitely test this seller to see what 'firm' means...

'70 isn't my favorite, as I like the hidden headlights on the '67 & '68. I prefer the '68 overall. But - this is a nice one that I'd definitely consider. The only thing I noticed was some rust staining along the lower edges of the door skins where they crimp onto the door frame. Since it's in PA, I would definitely look it over in person just to make sure it's nothing serious. Under the hood looks pretty good, so maybe rust is only superficial. I think it's just the grille design. Here's a '69:

1975 Buick Electra in Rare Color $9500 Iowa
EmTee replied to B Jake Moran's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
Not a fan of that color on this car, though it looks like it's in nice condition. Actually, I think I like the blackwall/road wheel combination on this, given the color and the fact that it's a coupe. Maybe the owner was inspired by @JohnD1956! -
1948 Buick Super Sedanette $20K
EmTee replied to Leif in Calif's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
I don't hate it, but it certainly is NOT what I would call a 'survivor'. I would call it a 'mild' resto-mod. ('Mild' in that it appears to retain its original drivetrain.) While not original, the interior appears to be comfortable and well done. If it drives well, someone could at least drive and enjoy the straight-8 and torpedo styling. I'd prefer an original one, so I won't comment on the price... -
Beautiful - that Buick has certainly been well cared for!

Project 65 Wildcat Coupe - Assembly

Going to MCACN...? -
It will be interesting to see how the advent of electronic engine and HVAC controls affects that trend. Hints of what may happen are already appearing on this forum with regard to cars of the early to mid '90s. When replacement parts are unavailable, work-around alternatives will need to be developed to keep them going.

1968 Ford F250 - The daily driver
EmTee replied to Lahti35's topic in Our Cars & Restoration Projects
The Lucky Strikes look right at home! Ugh, crappy analog ignition parts may ultimately be what drives me to electronic conversion... The water pump is another thing - I feel your pain. I'm at the point now where I think long and hard before replacing any working part just because "I'm in there...". -
