Jim Skelly
What are the little doodads below the Wildcat script on both quarter panels and the blobs/vents on the rocker panels?
John Bloom
Man what a great looking car. I’d like to have a 63-65 Riviera, but this could stir my soul too.

The ones on the quarter look like trim from an S&S or Miller Meteor professional car to me. The ones on the rockers? Almost like a simulated exhaust port. Good-looking car though, and not nearly as common as its Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Chevrolet cousins.

Hard to say without seeing it in person, however, the engine bay seems to support the assertion (vs. a prior restoration). Nice looking 'cat. B Jake Moran
I’m not 100% sure the Wildcats on the side are stock. I think so. The rub strip is added. Great. They were in the right place with cash to buy it for $5,000 or so. Now they want you to pay nearly $20,000.
Jim Skelly
yes, the Wildcat scripts are correct; too bad someone had to junk the car up a bit
jframe
I'd like to park this next to my 65 Riviera. It's even the right color combo.
John_S_in_Penna
The Wildcat is in Minnesota, and I wonder whether there has been rust repaired. Look at the driver's side, behind the front wheel well, down low below the side molding. The bodywork looks uneven--in 2 different pictures, so it's probably not just the lighting that makes it look wavy. deac
What a fine looking Buick! I do like these cars. The 22k miles cannot be verified! There are 2 issues I have with this car: The seller says it has power steering but why is there no belt in the pulley. The other issue is the two front fenders. Every picture of the those fender the color doesn't match as well as it should. Pictures do lie so this paint issue could be a non-issue! I do wonder if the heads have been updated for no lead gasoline. I had 2 Camaro's I remember adding a lead substitute when I was at the gas station. Out here in southern California I would be lucky if anyone who works at a gas station would know what I am talking about let alone carries it.; "You want a lead what??? What's that for???" Crusty Trucker
Real grandma colors, IMHO. I'd father have one brighter and flashier. This was marketed as a sportier car, so it needs to be sportier ! The factory brochure suggests all sorts of options including a 4-speed transmission as well as other performance options. Luckily we have leaded, higher octane gas (92 octane) available at most gas stations for only a slight increase in price over the middle grade. My 455 Buick seems to like it and runs well. I do, however, add lead additive to the oil. There have been a number of things I have wanted to purchase at an auto supply store (including NAPA) but had to explain and describe them to the clerk. Often, we go through the parts book or the computer screen together to locate what I need. There seems to be more young people employed there, male and female, which is good, I guess, but there's no substitute for the old fart who's been behind the counter for 40 years and knows a spark plug from a windshield wiper. I think you mean non-ethanol gas and zinc-based additive to the oil
EmTee
The '64 is nice, but if I can have only one Wildcat, mine would have to be a '65...
