brasscarguy2
On a whim just for fun I bid on one today and darned if I was not the highest bidder. Damn I'm on the west coast and the car is in Mass. Well I just received my new '29 dual cowl Cadillac last Friday from Connecticut. I hope to get the '41 home for Christmas. All I need now is a 1 cylinder Cadillac and my collection is complete. brasscarguy

ericmac
Wow! Great car! It looks really good in that blue. I don't think I have ever seen one that color. Congrats.

Congratulations on the new purchase, Brass Car Guy! The color, I think, is a stand-out on this model. Awaiting a new old car can be like anticipating Christmas. How are you defining your set? A Cadillac from every decade? A Cadillac with every engine configuration-- 1-cylinder, 2-cylinder, etc.? Completing a set is an interesting way to be a car collector. Marty Roth
WE drive our 1941 Cadillac convertible coupe cross-country, and love every minute of it - You'll enjoy yours, as well. Best of luck with it. A great car at a fair price - drive and smile ! Edited November 24, 2021 by Marty Roth (see edit history)
brasscarguy2
My dad had both a 1941 Cadillac convertible sedan and a 1940 LaSalle convertible sedan back in the late 50's. The Cadillac was our daily family car. Sadly in 1959 both cars were burned in a fire where my dad lost 12 cars. today the Cadillac might have been saved but it did not have a lot of value then. Off to the scrapper they went.. I had fond memories of that car and I guess that is why I decided to pull the trigger on the auction. brasscarguy
TAKerry
Nice looking automobile! I saw one just like that (diff colour) at a Buick Olds Pontiac Cadillac show a couple of years ago. Outstanding car.

Stude Light
Nice car. Similar blue to a 1940 Olds Phaeton that was recently donated to the RE Olds Museum
1935Packard
Nice! The '41 Cadillacs are fantastic cars; there's a reason they are so commonly used as CCCA tour cars. And I love the 4-door convertible body style. Every drive around the neighborhood will be a parade.
