MCHinson
You can put in any zip code and choose "Any" as the distance and you will get the entire US. Feel free to use my zip code of 28401 if you don't know another one.

Bleach
Here is a search engine that I have found useful:AutoTempest Used Car Search Engine - Everyone's ideal car is out there. Find yours. It didn't work very well for me. All my CL results were either expired or deleted. Probably just my luck.
auburnseeker
CLAZ.ORG works pretty good. You need to do a US zip code but just pick one at random ours is 12885 and then search the widest radius possible. I think you can search the whole country. I did when looking for my Vette. It seemed to work great, I found several.
MrEarl
The simplest thing I have found is just type in 1954 buick site:craigslist.org Substitute anything you are looking for for 1954 buick For example antique gas pump site:craigslist.org or prosthetic leg site:craigslist.org Edited September 2, 2013 by MrEarl (see edit history)

paulrhd29nz
The craigslist App. for my I phone works very well. better than the pc version.
ghostymosty
Everytime you list a site that searches craigslist nationally, it gets removed due to threats from craigslist. Craigslist is meant to be a "local only" website and they have become very contentious about sites that combine a search for different locales. Seems pretty petty to me but for now craigslist has finally put up a few surrounding results when a specific search returns too few items.
Justin Kerns
The craigslist App. for my I phone works very well. better than the pc version.Agreed. There is an app for smartphones and tablets called cPRO Craigslist and it is much better than any web browser based search. Download it for your device and give it a try. It is fast, allows searches of multiple geographies and shows photos in the ad list.Justin

George Smolinski
FYI No matter which CL national search engine you use, IT DOES NOT show every car or part on CL of the type/model you searched for. I've looked nationally numerous times & then looked locally in various areas only to find cars that didn't show up on the national searches.
