Kosage Chavis
This one is right be my way. On the condition that weather is good, a lot of classic car owners park their cars in the Hardee's parking lot on Saturdays and just chill. This one caught my eye. smithbrother
I need to make 1/5th scale trailer for my 30"long 1925 Miller Indy car model, LOVE THEM SINGLE AXLE TRAILERS. Post 2196, I could hook it up to my GM Futurliner bus model, huh! I recall attending Indy 500 in the early 50's and the day after seeing one of the actual race cars on a trailer at an eating joint. Also remember double deck open trailers with midget cars on such, DIM WERE THE GOD OLE DAYS. Dale in Indy

Looks like I could not get the link to work but if you try to google it yourself it may work. It shows how they built the engines along with a bunch of records it got. He also had a two engine rail job that was one on front of the other but I am not sure what engines they were. Cal.

Then he did his thing with the Showboat. Dual nailheads Tandem nailheads Four nailheads and four wheel drive and the Wagon Master After a number of stock bodied Buicks, he built this nailhead powered rail. Then came the dragsters

I've seen a number of rail cars in museums, but I don't recall any as late as 1955. I'm pretty sure I have photos of 1938 and 1939 Buick rail cars somewhere. One of them is in the Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw, SK.

Pulled our tent trailer from Vancouver BC down to Disneyland back in '88 with the 2 kids. Sure got alot of looks and thumbs up. Combined it with the Buick Reginal show in Sacramento. That was back when there was only 1 gold, silver and bronze in each class. Was parked between the gold and bronze cars. Found out on Sunday I could have gotten the longest driven award but because I didn't go to the banquet they gave it to someone else.
