  1. Tom, the guy's just asking if they are available, is all. I'm not trying to sell him anything, don't get so upset. The fact is they are available. They could be porous, they might be better than original. I have no clue. The poster... I don't think even has a NEED for one. He just asked. I happened to be quarantined for the past few weeks stuck at home with the 'Rona. I'm not taking food out of your mouth. (PS Don't worry I'm fine). Don't worry, you can have your used parts corner. But being in sales myself I have learned that the WORST way to sell is by bashing the competition. Especially implying they might be porous , warranty doubts etc. You chased out Centerville auto family this month.. just for that reason you are now on my blacklist of vendors along with CARS, OPGI. It's whittling down to Gene And Larry D. Hell, kick the bees hive and maybe I will start selling parts here. Gesus Chripes. Anyway, Tom ..Luv ya...
  2. Hope 63-65's plummett..I have $$$

often find the yellow wire running down to the trans has breaks in it, easy place to start.
  4. Woman usually do a better job than guys... maybe it has to do with furniture/redecoration? I think they would like to pick the color, though?? LOL
  5. Don't want to cut into Telrivs action but timing covers are being repopped , centerrville has them (though I think he got kicked off the site in a scuffle. An ebay search will produce 100 of them around 400each 425 nailhead timing cover | eBay That was easy LOL .
  6. X, You read it half right. They make their own skins. They sell buns but don't make them. ___________________________ You're experience with your upholsterer with the accent is charming. I sometimes envy people in the car hobby whose minds first inclination when they have a project is to connect with their wallet and are successful at it. It took me a long time to have a basic, solid understanding of 63-65's. The upholstery is hard for me. That's a concept in my hobby: to get better understanding of it. Hell, I sure do enjoy these vehicles, and I do whatever I want with them! It snowed out last two days. If it gets salt on one today and rusts tomorrow I'll use another one. I love em but I don't kiss them and rub them, I drive them. Not scared of them breaking, blowing up, using gas or going to fast. Enjoy your day my friend.
  7. I just add 20 to every product I sell in shipping. The heck w them.
  8. Maybe then the trunk hood won't close?
  9. Bob, I'll ask another way: is there liquid or silicone in it? or is it solid metal
  10. I seem to remember seeing this car at Cernar? Celnack? Buick ... (dealer now closed) in Northhampton a few times at their car shows. If it was junk I would of remembered more!! LOL Looks awesome. Not many old Buicks to be found here. That alone puts a premium on it to the seller and a buyer in my mind. Looks like an easy transaction from those few photos. Steve in MASS
  11. 100% agree with JZ above. Here are recent findings as fairly savvy, frequent purchaser: $1900 (local..no shipping) vs 19000 ( with 800 shipping from Las Vegas). You pick the better deal: Steve in rust heaven Massachusetts.
  12. less funny, I was close to buying a new caddy then. Nice score!
  13. My past has ingrained an number of Steve Facts. Chief among them: Anybody that says they never lie is a liar. Now, that's just me of course. (I bet a few of you will be glad when I'm cleared to go back to work). LOL
  14. Hi pal, the answer to your question is: ROOF RAIL Weatherstripping. Good luck. Steve 9236

  16. No argument from me...that was my point, too, from prior postings in this thread. My thoughts exactly sir.
  17. LOL You knew me from long ago!. I washed a 65 Riviera so often the Vinyl Top started caving from all the rust that grew from the dampness I hosed behind it. Now I wash my little collection once a year whether they need it or not.
