1st gen (63-65s) have rear foam for sure. I find the back seat foam is usually brittle like stale bread. Maybe 2nd generation is different, but you have to manufactuee new buns ( or manipulate the cushions from the front for the rear if you are changing the front anyway) Pic 1 I use soft foam in the center and firmer on the side bolsters, glue it all to a burlap base) Pic2 Use cotton to fill/make small adjustments Pic 3 Tip: Women are naturals at this LOL Lots of upholstery videos on youtube, you need papaer coated listing wire (or coat hangers), hog ring pliers/rings and arts and crafts skills

maybe the bolt with the buggered threads allowed the pump to cock to a degree that it angled enough to bend the arm. with the pump and a/c/alt bracket removed you can helicoil the stripped threads as there is enough room to work. I would invest in a new original rebuildable type pump, do you want to go thru this hassle again? as these newer pumps are crap.

Per Factory Service Manual 44S is the correct plug as originally equipped is readily available. Can never argue with original equipment 45S for low speed city driving, if 44S found to fouling. 45S extended full speed throttle may result in damaged pistons. AC R44S is a direct replacement for 44S Never saw 43S mentioned in the Owners Manual or factory service Manual. Any info to the contrary (whether Champion/Autolite/Bosch/Mitsubishi/Walmart brand) is free advice taken at one's own peril. Funny thing about internet info, once one computer expert makes a claim, it's repeated over and over again til it becomes gospel Steve

Got it, but still confused: You said: : "New replacement covers are NOT available at this time". ( When I posted that that they are a click away on ebay) Then, All of a sudden you know they are available and who sells them.... ___________________ As a reminder, Centervelle got taken off this site, for the"flaming" when you (Tom) told Centerville that He didn't know what he was talking about when it came to Terminator Bobs loose Harmonic Balancer. Look Tom, I could go on and on, But will not further clutter the board with this. If you have an other fact you'de like me to keep established with you. You can certainly message me. That's the same envelope above we were talking about Bob's aftermarket balancer you sold him. Peace, Steve
