Chrome refinishing - what to ask

my 2 cents worth--don't send anything to a shop because of a cheap price--those are the parts that can't be replacei d when they ruin them--i sent my windshield frame to a shopto be plated, they ruined it--had to have a new one made--- -
Go drive one before you buy one--you may get your own opinion--I was like you, till I rode in one--

Find a car show- go look & ask questions--no harm there, but when you sign up with a shop & get it home, your neighbor always tells you whats wrong--had a shop recommended to me, saw their work at a shop--the pleats fromm the back rest too the cushion didn't even like up--best to do your homework first--Tom

I found a used potter trunk @ a estate sale over the weekend==had all the mldgs, both latches one hinge even the key lock--when i got it open today i was surprised to find the decal logo still intack inside--is there any way to reuse the decal to install in mine-i,ve already restored mine on my 32 Studebaker--thanks for all your help & advise--Tom

I,ve used nail polish foryears as touch up-from my chrome /painted bumpers on my race car to touch up on my 32 Studebaker--just had to be careful which checkout line I used @ the grocery--
