Happy fall! I wanted to let everyone know I still have possession of my beautiful 1924 Cadillac. After Carl, I didn’t advertise it at all. My dad recently passed away and it’s time to pass it on. My grandpa and grandma were the only owners and it’s been in a barn covered for about 30 years.

Hi gentlemen and ladies. It’s been a little bit. I don’t know if you heard but Carl passed away last June. I hadn’t heard from him in awhile so I called and spoke to his wife Sandy. Carl and I used to talk on the phone and email. He was a wonderful man. He was going to come get the car once COVID was over So I have another buyer and had a question for someone in California. Obviously, the Cadillac hasn’t been registered in decades. Does the buyer just go to the DMV and start a new title on it? As usual, you guys are the best! Michelle

Also, I know there are mouse droppings but no mice! we have an orchard and therefore quite a few walnuts. There were walnut bags near the car and the mice built their nests in those not in the cars. We will go over it with a fine-tooth comb but we did look for nests and did not see any.

I’ve just been doing a lot of research online and there’s not much on this specific car so I was in Google going back a few pages and there was the forum and someone talking about the Cadillac Victoria so I figured you may be able to help answer my appraisal question. I ended up getting so much more!

I don’t know how I got so blessed to find this group! You guys have helped this naive girl so much! Honestly, I was just looking for advice. I’ve come to realize that if I want the top $$ I can get for it, I need to get that engine to turn (thank you CCarl) We will take photos this weekend!

Yep, CCarl said the same about the pans. I will get photos of the engine bay and share them. CCarl walked me through how I would get the engine wet and get the right lube and everything. He was going to post it here to see if you guys had any other steps to add.
