  1. Also, I know there are mouse droppings but no mice! we have an orchard and therefore quite a few walnuts. There were walnut bags near the car and the mice built their nests in those not in the cars. We will go over it with a fine-tooth comb but we did look for nests and did not see any.
  2. I see this shop near us. I don’t know if they would be a good fit? https://www.zylstraauto.com/services/classic-cars
  3. These are cool. They are my Grandpa’s Registrations for the car. It’s not all of them but the earliest is 1955.
  4. Ok, here are the photos of the engine and breaks. The cobwebs cost extra.
  5. I’ve just been doing a lot of research online and there’s not much on this specific car so I was in Google going back a few pages and there was the forum and someone talking about the Cadillac Victoria so I figured you may be able to help answer my appraisal question. I ended up getting so much more!
  6. Thank you very much for your wise input. I feel like I am put on this Earth to make ALL the mistakes so other people don’t have to endure them 😁
  7. I don’t know how I got so blessed to find this group! You guys have helped this naive girl so much! Honestly, I was just looking for advice. I’ve come to realize that if I want the top $$ I can get for it, I need to get that engine to turn (thank you CCarl) We will take photos this weekend!
  8. Yep, CCarl said the same about the pans. I will get photos of the engine bay and share them. CCarl walked me through how I would get the engine wet and get the right lube and everything. He was going to post it here to see if you guys had any other steps to add.

  10. It’s in Lemoore, Ca. That’s 40 miles south of Fresno.
  11. We do have the clear title which is nice!
  12. I would just rather not even touch it and sell it “as is” I’ll leave that part up to the professionals!
  13. The appraiser said 6k-8k. We were thinking more like 10k. I don’t want to be one of those people that ridiculously overprice their car because they’re emotional over it. I do want it sold.
  14. Can you elaborate on why appraisers are worthless? Yes, it’s sat for a long time and hasn’t been started. Everything on it is original.
  15. This is going to be a very basic question so I apologize. My Grandma and Grandpa owned a 1924 Victoria 5 seat. My mom passed away a few years ago and my sister and I would like to sell it. I guess you could call it a “barn find” We got the appraisal today and we’re wondering (here comes the question) What price do you market it as? Do you market it at the top number of the appraisal? More? Thank you so much for your help!
