It is located in the town of Montauban, a town near where I live. We went there with my brother's 1984 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6L On the road a beautiful Alpine A110 (also called " berlinette ") follows us once we arrived we were parked in the 1980/1990 category, so the first photos will be with this generation Renault 5 " Super Campus " Peugeot 106 Rally Renault Super 5 GT Turbo and Renault 5 Alpine Turbo Alfa Romeo A Renault 8 Gordini arrives Ford Mustang Autobianchi and Talbo Samba Land Rover VW Cox various decoration 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Installing those on the car is far easier than converting a US/Canadian market car back to French specs. Lots of structural reinforcement would have had to be removed first before installing the Euro-spec bumpers. I really appreciate seeing the pre WWII era vehicles as most of what you show never reached the shores of the USA to be sold when new. For many years I collected sales literature on pre war European cars with the help of my friend Peter Moore of West Sussex England who had a business called Motor Book Postal Auctions . Besides his 6 times a year auction catalog he would act as my agent at shows like Retromobile, Beaulieu, etc to find things for me. I this have major spiral bound catalogs on the large 45 hp Renualts ( Reinastella, Nervastella) plus numerous others. Also the other earlier cars , mostly 1920s Citroens and the Renault are to me of particular interest. That aside, I do really enjoy seeing so very many postwar European cars that we see so rarely see over here. Truly fascinating. The Reinastella, ... , are very beautiful cars, and that day there was a beautiful Vivastella. One person told me that a friend of his had a Renault Nervastella. I've never seen it and I might see it at a car show in September. You have a lot of beautiful documents I see, you have a beautiful collection . If I find any documents I will tell you . It is with pleasure that I share the photos with you This mascot is beautiful and interesting, but I haven't seen the owner and I don't know the history of this mascot, but it's the first time I've seen this . It is something seldom seen at shows / events here in Australia as there seems to be a divide between the various groups (snobbery is a better term) and perhaps a fear of "cross pollination". We get, Vintage, Classics, One make, One country and then the modified lot with "rat rod", "street rod", "street machine", "custom" etcetera - and none of them seem willing to fraternise with the common ground of being "car guys"/ Steve 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes here we mix the cars and everyone is happy, for example, people who are in Citroen 2CV clubs are also happy to talk and see with people who have American cars, with German cars, tractors, ... I am a big ( very big ) fan of American cars ( Ilike ! ), but I also really like all other vehicles, I like the Renault Dauphine, Peugeot 302 , Citroen Traction, .... , 17 hours ago, John E.
