victorialynn2
That line on the rear fender looks like it could be a 57 Ford, but nothing else does.
keiser31
Part of it may have started out as this....or a cross between this and a 1957. Edited March 19 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Ozstatman
That rear fender sweep starts behind the door on the the car in question The actual '57 rear fender sweep starts in the door of the 57 itself. But what do I know? The car is customised, so anything could have happened to.

Or at least I think so. Edited March 19 by hook left out (see edit history)
TerryB
The angle of the windshield where it meets the door was another reason for my 1957 Ford call.

TMcNasty
Good guesses y’all. https://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/d/boonton-1957-ford-fairlane/7728083444.html From the seller: It's complete custom front grille made by Les Dunham and a rear continental kit. CHuDWah
Taillights/fins look like 57-59 Mercury - hood and front fenders look kinda like 3rd generation T-Bird.

Craigslist ad says '57 Ford. The front end modifications resemble what George Barris or Joe Bailon created in California in the '60's. Les Dunham got a little later start in New Jersey. His shop was/is a prolific custom body shop. Bailon Barris Dunham All created with splendid taste that pleased every automotive enthusiast.😉 Edited March 20 by f.f.jones (see edit history)

But what do I know What you didn’t know is that on a 1957-59 Ford the doors on the retractable Skyliner are SHORTER than on the other Fairlane class 2 door models. Skyliner retractables have unique doors, quarter panels and moldings! but the firewall forward is the same.
