You can get a catalog from them. I have found this helpful when trying to locate parts. Bill
BrianM
It changed for me a couple weeks ago and I have had issues ever since. Now I have to go to the front page and grab the catalog. And it isn't completely correct

So, I called them for a complete emergency brake cable. He didn’t have any but he got one for me made out of gold.
Chasander
Bob check in line tube for brake cable.
XframeFX
I called them for my List. They only had the most important item, Fuel Pump Repair Kit - Thankfully. They acknowledged their website changed and still allows online ordering. Bob, I suppose you've already seen the CARS chart for E-Brake Cable below. Mister Fab
I think they have moved their website to another system, but it is totally bugged. I try to get an answer from them to order parts but I didn't have any feedback for days now.
EmTee
Don't get me started... I hope they get this fixed soon.
RivNut
I tried finding a rear cover gasket for another guy. The third time I got into the site I finally figured it out. IMHO, the owner of CARS needs to model his size after the Rock Auto site.

RivNut
I never liked their old one either. Unless you have a knowledge of group numbers you’re SOL.
EmTee
At least their old website had items sorted into logical groups. There were cases where parts could overlap (e.g., steering vs. suspension), but it wasn't difficult to check and find what you were looking for. The new site is basically unusable. Now I have to open the online catalog and flip virtual pages to find anything...
MCHinson
While I am exclusively a prewar Buick guy, I have usually found the Bob's Automobila is easier to deal with than Cars, Inc. I have purchased parts from both over the last 10 years or so. After seeing this discussion, I checked out the Cars, Inc website and it appears that it is a work in process. It has only a few years listed in the drop down menu to search for parts. At the moment, the website is worthless. Hopefully they will finish building the new website and it will work. No matter what they do to the website, I will probably still try Bob's Automobilia before Cars, Inc when I need parts.

Ended up buying the emergency brake cable from the gent on Eastern Shore of Md. or Delaware. Surprisingly, the cable was right stout and appeared to be made in the US.
