For Oldsmobile's 75th Anniversary, there was the 1972 Oldsmobile 98 Regency Tiffany Edition, but the only thing "Tiffany" on it was the electric clock; not the door step plates!!! 46 woodie Posted May 6, 2019 Share Posted May 6, 2019 Tiffany Electric Car Company, 1913-1914, Flint Michigan. The Tiffany succeeded the Flanders electric car. It was powered by a Wagner electric motor, with tiller type steering and was sold for $750. The name Tiffany was only used from October 1913 until March 1914, after which the Flanders name was revived. I doubt however that those step plates were for the Tiffany Electric. John_S_in_Penna Posted May 6, 2019 Share Posted May 6, 2019 Maybe the AACA Library has some information on the Tiffany electric car. If so, one could at least see what logo they used, and see whether it was the same semi-circle design as on those step plates. I tend to agree with the others, figuring they are aftermarket items. I am sure they are original to the car by the imprints on the factory head liner and mounting screw holes. Originally the nickel was also covered.
