ROD W
It looks like a flat radiator surround, and split windscreen so I would say a 24 or 25. If its a 25 I wouldn,t mind a parts car. But not at that price

J.H.Boland
Never thought of it as a "ute" but I guess it is ! This '21 Chevy touring was modified in the early '20's after fire damaged the rear section.Stored from 1931 to 1972.I still have the 1927 ownership. Morgan Wright
Ute is a tribe of Indians out west which gave its name to a mountain range, a lake, formerly Lake Ute, now Great Salt Lake, and a state. The state is spelled Utah which is also the pronunciation of Ute.
Larry Schramm
Ute is the short name for an Australian utility vehicle like the Chevrolet El Camino or Ford Ranchero. Many of them started as cars that had the back half removed and a truck type box installed. The term has been in use for probably 100 years at least. Here are a few pictures of more contemporary Australian utes / utility. https://www.google.com/search?biw=1280&bih=607&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=AedbWsTENIKKjwTa7YmYCw&q=australian+ute+antique&oq=australian+ute+antique&gs_l=psy-ab.12...135984.138101.0.140186.8.7.0.1.1.0.124.582.5j2.7.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.3.260...0j0i30k1j0i24k1.0.8gE-qgiL3OA Edited January 14, 2018 by Larry Schramm (see edit history)

We would say flat bed Ford like they said in that song about Winslow Arizona when they meant to say flathead Ford. "There's a girl my lord in a flathead Ford" what girl drives a flat bed? Oops.
