Bill Stoneberg
Nice Wagon.. Ionia has been making wagons forever it seems.
JohnD1956
Love it! Such nice detail! So simple, and yet so muscular! What's it like performance wise with the 2X 4's? I imagine the wagon has a more performance oriented rear axle ratio than a sedan.

Guest jpmooning
Adam it is my understanding that the Buick wagons were so pricy to build - farmed out everything from the front clip back to Ionia to build - that they did not provide a lot of luxury features like air conditioning and power windows because they would have to be priced so much higher than the premium 225's Original buyer was a guy from PA named Samuel Hostettler....he must of loved it because they took such good care of it
ScarredKnightfan
Now isn't that intriguing! I have relatives in PA with that same last name, but it is spelled Hostetler (no double T)..... Pete Phillips
'62 Invicta wagons are rare cars. The dashboard is gorgeous! So much chrome, different textures, color, and flash! No plastic in that one! Pete Phillips, BCA #7338

ScarredKnightfan
How cool is that. I will have to ask my cousin if that is a relative of his. My cousin's last name is Hostetler; his Mom is my Dad's sister. What a small world if it is indeed a relative. ScarredKnightfan
I did ask ... & he said he's not aware of a relative with that 1st name. Though, he did say not to take too much stock into that as they weren't close with all of their relatives ... so, who knows!
