  1. This place....https://www.bobsspeedometer.com/
  2. Sometimes a coil will heat up and the car will quit. Sits for a few minutes and will start right up again until the coil heats up again. Just a thought as I had that problem years ago.
  3. Try French Lake Auto Parts for the hood.
  4. There are rubber boots you can but to put over your spark plugs to keep them dry. They were made for Chrysler flathead (L-head) engines. Here is a link to some....https://www.ebay.com/itm/173597705004?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&srsltid=AfmBOoqVaqH4hUGUM05miECj_7LkxwJkNBAhvkkN064O3Cpwsst_ZwN6p_M
  5. I see a DeSoto Airflow to the left of the PLYMOUTH sign.
  6. Headlights do not differ in the different models.
  7. 1939 Plymouth were more square looking.
  8. "Low buck, high performance" is what they advertised and they were correct! I would give quite a bit to get my old '68 Road Runner back. It was a FUN ride! 383 four barrel, four speed, bench seat screamer.
  9. Sad to hear this and it is a great loss to the world.
  10. Thank you for posting this. I saw some of those hub caps on Ebay and for the life of me, could not find a DB cap in that style. There they are! On a Canadian Dodge.
  11. Do not feel stupid. I went looking for one of my 1931 Dodge front fender braces a while back and for the life of me, I could not find it. I thought it was on the fender....nope. I thought I looked everywhere. I figured it was gone in moving the car so many times, so I put out a plea on this forum and others looking for a brace. A few days later I went looking for something else and looked into a wall cupboard in the garage that I had stuffed some things in. There was the missing brace. I had put it "somewhere safe" because I knew it would go missing. It did. Hahahaha.
  12. An early Dodge Viper or a 1964 or so XKE Jaguar convertible. Two of my all time favorite cars. I drew this when I was a kid. I do have the front of a Viper that I am making a seat out of.
  13. Having a hard time finding a Nash of that era with a golf bag door.
  14. The hump on the top hood hinge is a good indication as are the hub caps....
  15. Until they moved it to McMinville, Oregon.
  16. I have to ask because I am confused. Is it an optical illusion that the panel behind the rear wheel looks too big to fit under the rear fender? It does not seem to match the contour of the rear fender. It almost looks upside down to me.
  17. Was it posted for sale?
  18. Yep. It's my Dad's fault. He worked for Chrysler Corporation for 37 years and taught me how to use tools. He was an executive supervisor for the Export-Import Division. He came home one evening telling us that a show car that he had shipped to America from Italy went down on the Andrea Doria. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was 4 years old in 1956, but I remember him talking about it at the dinner table. He took our family to the annual Greenfield Village Old Car Festival for years to see the old beasts. I fell in love. He gave my my very first real car, my old, 1931 Dodge coupe. Most of the cars I have owned have been Chrysler products. I have my Dad's 35 year pin from Chrysler with a photo of him receiving it hanging in my living room. Thanks, Dad....
