  2. I guess I'm stupid. How can they issue a plate where there is a duplicate number out already the computer should confirm that number is not used. Also what difference would it make if it was a reproduced plate the state will get the same amount of money in Indiana you still will get a current plate it must be in the car but not on it what difference does it make if the color is not perfect match are they going to use a paint chip to determine if it a match ? The bottom line is $$$$$$$$$. No one working would know what colors for each year . Just my opinion. Mike

  14. Don Thanks for the reply. I need the glass bottle there looks like there is or was a bale to keep it from unscrewing and falling off ( that's when you run out of gas and sweep up the glass) I think if I tried to remove the metal part it would break then the next thing would be the vacuum pump would be in a number of pieces. Will await you pictures. Mike. Ps you guys may be right it is not a D B part aftermarket more than likely.

I find myself in need of the small glass jar that is attached to the vacuum fuel pump on a @1918DB. Maybe used on other makes also. The top threaded part is about 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 just depends on how you measure it. Thanks. Mike
