  1. There are many 'free' email/newsletter online publishing sites. Try; MPZMail MailChimp SendingBlue etc. All give very generous amount of free publishing per month.
  2. Here is another option for you. pistons I have no idea of pricing.
  3. It was so good that I want to ditch my BB1 in the bin and find a Stromberg SF..
  4. Thanks mate! So generous of you to share your infinite knowledge.
  5. WOW! What an awesome picture.
  6. What are your thoughts on the Penrite T250? Penrite T250
  7. Get yourself one of these and make your life a little easier. Even I can use one....:) Test Light Bank loan rates are very low at the moment, even I can afford one. Stick the pointy end into one of the plug terminals and the alligator clip onto ground. Put your foot on the brake pedal, if the test light comes on then your brake light circuit is working. If not, place the pointy end of the test light on the other terminal then push the brake pedal again. Test light comes on, you know which is the brake terminal and the fact that everything is working up to that terminal. Do the same to the other terminal by turning on the light switch. Its just a matter of eliminating where the issues are. Report back on what you get from the diagnosis. Good luck.
  8. It does sound like you need to reverse the wires at the lamp. Also, your light switch may have an issue. Do you know how to use a multimeter (voltmeter)? Or a simple test lamp will also do the trick of testing the circuits.
  9. Oops, i forgot the tassles on each corner of the rug....:)
  10. Offer him $2899 and feel like you got a steal.
  11. I reckon a 1st generation Toyota Prius would be a good bet. The 2nd generation is the more familiar shape.
  12. Just wonderful! Interesting looking sunvisor.
  13. Hi Don, If its a Stewart Warner speedo then you maybe in luck. Ford Model A (28-29) speedo internals will/may inter-change with very little modification. I fixed my 28 Chrysler speedo this way. http://forums.aaca.org/topic/269010-chrysler-62-vs-ford-model-a-oval-steward-warner-speedos/ You can buy rebuilt speedos from ebay.
  14. Smallest of leaks, not the end of the world. The collar has a bend in it that looks like it shouldn't be there. I will sort it out when I flush this oil in a couple of hundred miles. Oil pressure gauge reads between 20 - 30 psi while driving around 30mph, but keeps dropping to between 10-20psi after 30 mins of driving. I will give a turn or two on the oil pressure relief valve spring. The engine definitely sounds smoother and lot less noisy.
  15. Roger that! I generally ignore them. A good sign that they are a scammer is the number of posts next to their name. ie. less than 1
  16. Yep. I got the same bloke trying to scam me as well. He replies to wanted ads.
  17. Be mindful that if you wish to install a windscreen wiper/s, be it electric, vacuum or hand driven, it will most likely get in the way of this mechanism functioning. I removed mine to install an electric wiper motor.
  18. Just another note. You may need to add some shims to move the bendix drive forward a little to mesh it to the flywheel ring gear fully. The shims go at the other of the main shaft. Sorry no pics.
  19. Thanks mate. The WHAT? Doh!!!!! Unfortunately the felt was cactus. I used 3mm cork as a replacement. But, I noticed today, after good 20 minute run, that there is a very small black oil leak down the rear fly wheel cover, which is strange because it has nice fresh 20w - 50 oil in her...:( Probably rear main bearing seal leak.
  20. What a great mix bag of lovely cars. And well done, the Buick looks a beaut!
  21. And finally, my beautiful bottom. No leaks, yet!
  22. Thanks mate. Yeah, I tossed a coin regarding paste or no paste. No paste won the coin toss but I like Stag...:) If it doesn't show much pressure, its not too much trouble to redo.
