What's this got to do with old car discussion???

Maybe there's a Hollywood nostalgia forum out there that would be interested.

Duesenberg at the curb.

I keep checking back hoping someone has a better picture of the car and posts it?

I don't know if they ever had a Duesenberg themselves or not. I have read a few times that they never got paid a lot for all the films they made. I am not sure how much truth there is to that story?

That's pretty well documented, and Moe Howard was the only one who had any business sense. He did well for himself. The others always had financial problems, so doubtful any of them owned a Duesenberg.

But, classic American slapstick comedians combined with a classic American automobile makes for a good picture.😎

Still searching with no luck yet. I did find a neat Packard Ambulance though.

Did my best at capturing several snippets

Btw, the title should be Dizzy Doctors. Try finding the Dizzy Doctors episode that shows the umbrella scene and you'll probably see more of the Duesenberg as they usually showed the car several times throughout the same episode.

I did. And with half a million posts in the General section I would figure there is enough room for a Duesenberg, the Stooges, and even Snow Whites friends.

This is just another example for anyone that finds the episode that has the Duesenberg in it. This shows how the same vehicle tended to show up in different scenes.

With the three photos here, I'm sure someone has enough to give this beauty a proper id.

I do too - in fact so much I watched an old episode of their show last night. What they did sometimes to those old cars was criminal, but certainly funny a the time.  Sure beats the evening news on TV these days.

In 1982, Blue Oyster Cult guitarist Buck Dharma released a solo album "Flat Out". One cut had some background noise "Dr Howard to the emergency room, Dr Fine to surgery". So even BOC paid a little tribute to the Stooges.

And being an Oldsmobile guy, and knowing the Long Island brothers who owned the car, naturally I thought the album cover was pretty cool!😎

Maybe about a 1929 Rolls Royce.

As I recall, Fords were the car of choice for Loral and Hardy and Lou and Costello to destroy.

Maybe Laurel and Hardy and Abbot and Costello?
