Xander Wildeisen
So did Chevrolet miss the boat by not building a three window Corvair? https://m.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3163561393907434/
63RedBrier
I'm a Corvair guy... While I love the wrap around rear windscreens and the semi-skirted rear wheel wells on early more doors, this car would have looked better if they would have built in a rear quarter window and had a sensible window frame for the doors.

8E45E
From a sales perspective, most likely not. Perrhaps a two-seat convertible might have had a slightly better chance, but both would have been money losers for GM. Craig
joe_padavano
Another more-door shortened into something that looks hideous. These things rarely look good.
suchan
Looks like you'd have to drive it with you head over the steering wheel. Weird.

Xander Wildeisen
What popped in my head is the cartoons where someone goes through a wall. And then you see their shape in the hole. The movie cone heads popped in my mind. When looking at the shape of the door frame.

Leif in Calif
If you didn't have that overhang on the rear window, either end could be the front.

supercub
A Nader no-no. But I've always likes the roofline on 61 Chevs. My 61 Biscayne had the same lines.

supercub
Now maybe the Corvair can be classified as a mid-engine car.
