Gearheadengineer
“Needs a good cleaning.” 😁 This thing has enough mold on the front seat to kill someone. There’s a reason the seller didn’t clean it before listing it. Neat car though. - John
kingrudy
Just quirky enough to catch my interest. The add says it runs and it has new brakes, so maybe it is a driver. The picture of the hood and grill puzzles me, does the hood close? Very interesting dash.

deaddds
Is it possible to get it habitable with that much mold or is it really a gut it out and redo type thing?
John Bloom
it looks like the good kind of mold......😆 I think this will be gone quickly at this price. Surely some entrepreneurial type will find 3 grand to wave at him, put a mask and gloves on, and go to town with a spray bottle of bleach water to start and then a good cleaning.........but not me.........

Sunshine will kill that quicker than any chemical. Get the car out in the fresh air, windows and doors open, take the seat cushions out, let them set out in the bright sunlight for a few days. Wipe down with just good vinyl cleaner to freshen the appearance. A baking soda and water solution sprayed on will freshen as well. Its a worthwhile car to make the effort to revive. 3

Hudsy Wudsy
1963 was apparently the last year that Virgil Exner oversaw styling at Chrysler. While I fault many of his designs, (I just panned the looks of a '61 Plymouth a few moments ago on a different thread) I've always admired '62 Chryslers for their canted headlights, nifty dash and interesting tail light treatment. If surface mold were the only issue, this would be savable, but I'm sure that health endangering mold lurks in and under these seats. kingrudy
Looks 10 times better having been cleaned up. I do not know how difficult it will be to find the passengers side rear door, but if that can be done, it should sell. Interesting car.
